Sorry Bro you will need to get price details form Joel..And yes am using a stock silencer for now till i get the FFE done on my bike..It will take me some time as am short of money and planning to leave the country...So before i leave with my bike i will get it done

Hmmm....m not sure watz holding u back from declaring the price at which u urself bought the block for.....anyways....if u r reluctant den may it be n leave it there.

I am planing to get the big bore from him but was skeptical if it would fit on the stock silencer....i dont intent to get the FFE cos i dont like the noise.

So plz confirm up on me that the big bore n the stock silencer play the game in perfect harmony without any issues.

Also how much time did it took to install the big bore unit.....also plz post some pics of it.

Bro if Joel is busy it might take some time to get the Big bore done but check with him before giving your bike..For me i have no issue with the stock silencer the bike running fine the performance is fine every thing is fine

..For me it took 2 days to get the big bore done..But am liking the bike even more because i got a 2nd FZ and i know the difference on both the bikes..

hey guys,

my chain has already started rusting up in spite of me lubing it regularly and rarely riding it in the rains.

what can i do to stop it

its not very severe. just started appearing now.

first remove the grim and dirt from the chain by washing it with water then let it dry completely take an old tooth brush dip it in diesel or petrol or kerosene and rub your chain properly with it. after it is properly cleaned take any chain lube and put it on the chain. i prefer to go the motul way.

datz quite high speed.....should mention if u were on normal tubed tire u would have suffered a puncture....lost control and fallen off....the bike took all the betting n carried u safe

Using motul 15w50 FS and stock silencer..during run-in it scared me by giving 26kmpl once,but all is well now

And one more thing I noticed is the engine is way smoother than stock

I was expecting the bike to be a bit vibey,but it is silky,even better than stock.Could be psychological though

The FFE makes a lot of difference as experienced by other bike owners..but I read in the newspaper yesterday, that the Transport Department is banning external mods on the bike

..so a bit hesitant to change it..

... Tail wind ? Road incline ? since you said ORR i'm assuming mostly flat . Sitting position ?

We are in Bangalore afterall , Whats Bangalore without traffic ?

According to me this statement was made since the big bore kits have been out of stock for a while now. So they should be available soon.

Tail wind couldn't really make out

..but the road was mostly flat as you said,I was half-crouching..moved a little back in the seat and was slightly crouched,can't control the bike fully crouched in the traffic man

And yeah,bangalore roads=traffic chaos

Buddy thanQ very much for sharing such finer details....for me they matter a lot....some how they prepare you for wat will come next after u put on the Big Bore Carb.
So what Fuel average is it returning now (presuming it has passes its run-in kms)
Is there any change in the exhaust note as compared to the stock????
i know FZs r very silent.....jus the way i like em to be.
