  • ^^ I don't think you can do much about it than trying to find the optimal setting ... the RVM positioning is a bit of a problem in the FZ .
People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com

    • Hi Guys,

For FZ-16 is there any additional lock we can add for security, apart from the one which gets fit on the shocker.

Yea even I was wondering about this lock that gets on the front fork. Should be very useful.

                      • Hello Guys,

Have any 1 of u tried 30, 35 psi for front and rear wheel?
and i have a question, Does it affect our tyre if we fill say above mentioned air pressure?

                        • 3 -5 psi is not too high and does not cause any significant damage
but too high pressure can cause uneven wear and tread depth from ceter towards outer apart from damaging the rim on bad roads and making lesser grip

                          • hey guys!!!.......i've done 399kms so far on my fuzzy in 18 days........it feels amazing............one thing though........near my college there is an upward slope....tooooooooooo steep and the stupid fellas have put huge speed-breakers at 20 meter intervals........now when i try to get up in 2nd gear the revs start building and as my bike is new i am supposed to keep them below 4.5k.......so any solution to reach the top without exerting too much load on the engine???????

                            • try to pass the steep slope slowly in first gear..FZ can do it in ease without building up much revs..

A little high-low doesn't matter but Yamaha SVC Guys told me to keep 25 front and 35 rear but according to manual it shud be 28, 33.

But he said if u keep 28 on front then bike will feel more jumpy on road.
