    low or high tone?
I was also planning to add an additional horn to my ZMA, hence the questions

I am facing a small issue with my 2010 unicorn. Sometimes when the acceleration is increased I get a feeling the clutch is engaged mildly for small period of time. This happen on sudden increase in acceleration during over takes and all. Has any one else faced this issue?

This is the stock horn which came with my Suzuki GS150R.
When one of my GS horn (low tone) failed, I installed 2 new splendor horns in my GS.

Coming back to Unicorn, I can hear the additional sound and it does it job perfectly.
I do not recollect the name but it should be Minda and it is a high tone horn.

You can source decent Minda horns (used for smaller bikes) from 100-150 RS. I would love to install Pulsar's horn set but they cost 470+ and thats why I went with the splendor ones in my Suzuki.

Can anyone share the contact details of a good paint shop in Mumbai? Need to get everything including the frame to be painted. How much does it cost nowadays?

I have a 07 Uni. I changed to the siracs about 3 years ago. Have had no problems to date. Try a different mechanic and not the tyre shop. Some minor adjustments may be all that is required.

I have visited close to 5 mechanics at different areas no one is able to solve it, they give reasons such as change your chain, change the wheel bearings etc
Tired of sirac will be replacing the tyres soon with a stock pattern.

To each his own. Go with whatever you feel safe and comfortable with. The handling characteristics does change with a knobby tire for the first week or 2. After that it becomes second nature. Have had no problem with wet or dry grip and noises from the siracs. MRF's doesn't come close to it in my opinion. The slight increase in weight of the new tires also bring forth any wear and tear of the bearings and sprockets, since the new rubber is softer and hence more sensitive. You may/probably experience this with any new tire that you change to. If you can afford it, go for it.

Sure, will wait for another 1000kms and take a decision, also want to add Michelin 2 wheeler tyre quality is taking a nose dive.

Had a flat 2 weeks back, when tube was removed and filled with air the tube bulged at one end. The tyre dealer replaced the tube without a fuss. However the ruckus it created was beyond words, had to take my colleague bike to get the tube replaced, pushed my bike to office parking for ~.5km without tube.

Maybe the quality has dropped in the past 3 yrs. But I see more siracs now then back then. Try it for a limited mileage. Keep your speeds under check to be on the safe side. I too was concerned about punctures with siracs being of softer compound and all but it has avoided me till now.

Folks, lately I am smelling very strong petrol smell near the tank, carefully checked the tank for any leaks but couldn't find any.

                      Vehicle is 6.5 years old.

Can anyone give some pointers to look for?

                      Cheers!

Identified the root cause today. Removed the tank to see any leakages in doing so suddenly tilted the tank and the eureka moment, petrol pourinhg from tank lid. Seems the rubber gasket is worn out.

Hence I went to local spare store, he said to replace the petrol lid as a set. Will go to Honda service center and enquire tomo.

                        Cheers!

Today thought of giving a try to check and correct Valve clearance. Everything went well untill getting the TDC correct. For some reason I was not able to get TDC some how got TDC, at this point the tappets were super tight. It wouldn't move a bit. Hence I removed the locknut and provided clearances as per manual and started the engine. Bad tappet noise resembling an lorry was heard immediately removed the cylinder head and rechecked at one position there was a huge play in rocker arm. And corrected the play, no tappet noise.

Now after taking out for a spin I noticed slightly less pickup. Seems I have screwed up the adjustment.

Can anyone help me to get the TDC correctly?

Yes you definitely might have screwed up the adjustment.
You need to find the TDC at compression stroke. That's when both the valves are closed and you will notice some play on the rocker arms vs the 'super tight' if you don't get the tdc on compression stroke.
Remove the spark plug (maybe insert a screw driver a wee bit thru the spark plug hole and notice when the piston hits the screwdriver) and keep an eye on the valves as you turn the engine. there is essentially two tdc's i.e. one at exhaust stroke (when exhaust valve is open) and the other at compression stroke (when both valves are closed). You need to adjust the clearances on the tdc of compression stroke. Get it wrong and sometimes can result is catastrophic engine damage.
Might take a couple of try's/turning over of the engine before you get it right.

Either try to find the workshop manual or get yourself this book "The ABC of servicing and maintaining your Honda Unicorn"

Not only screwed my valve adjustment also screwed rocker arm/cam shaft holder, threads are damaged hence had to take it to Svc. Total bill 1042/-.

After replacement of cam shaft holder slight tappet noise is present. Can we eliminate the noise completely!

                                Cheers!
