Please find the picture of the rear disc rotor included.

Also the squeaks were not heard before the servicing. It definitely is after the same.

    Thanks again for your response

Cleaning chain always satisfies me, it improves the performance and makes ride something I can cheer about.

Doing it DIY has encouraged me to do other maintenance and also helps me save money.

        Hey guys,

I have been unlucky enough to have my fuel pump wiring chewed off by rats twice within a span of 6 months.

Wiring was soldered successfully but in the latest case this week, the tachometer needle does not respond to throttle. The startup sweep is not affected.

The only decent service centre is 25 kms from my home and I would like to find out the root cause myself before making the trip there.

My initial suspect is the idle air sensor. Does anyone have any other ideas what can be checked to find out the cause?

Is the Odometer working? Can you see the current speed?

Yes. Except for the tachometer needle not moving with the rpm, the instrument meter is fully functional.

You can get them online too. Or just visit the SVC and get it from them.

It could be a console problem, where the rpm needle has shorted or burned due to the loose connection. I would recheck the entire wiring for any more cuts too.

Soo I started stocking up on some spare parts like clutch set which I will need to change somewhere Down the line and a clutch bell which cannot be reconditioned like on the 150 I also picked up a set of clutch and accelerator cables which I have never changed on my bike since day one, I came across the new Bs4 variant headlight setup which costs approximately 5900rs I was told, and going too see if I can fit it onto our old gen cbr with some jugaad obviously, but it should be a direct fit first and foremost, before I purchase the unit will check the fitment and size if it's a direct fit it's just a matter of sorting out the electrical side.

There is a guy named Strell on YouTube who has replaced his old halogen setup with the new LED headlamps. He hasn't revealed about the pricing but did mention that it was quite a task getting the wires and electrical sorted. And in case you replace with the LED setup, please post all the details. Many of us are interested to do the same.

Ok this is the existing Bs4 variant one, did he change to those? Definitely there will be need of electrical work but my main worry is the fitment and difference in the electrical sockets from older gen to Bs4, of there isn't much difference , I don't see a problem but the electrical alteration needs to be done as the Bs4 is AHO

He had mentioned that during installation he had the option to go with either AHO setup or conventional on/off setup and he went with the conventional route. And LED headlamps come with BS4 variants only. Because halogen setup only came with BS3 ones which Honda had discontinued from April 2017.

Will check, dunno if it's worth to spend 6k but if it fits directly with some electrical mods, will consider it.
