So I gave it to my local mechanic whom I know very well. Let's see what happens next.
BTW I've replaced Air filter once at 24k kms. But fuel filter has never been replaced yet.
    17,000 for fuel filter eh
Fuel pump costs that much, not fuel filter. Fuel filter is 250 odd rupees and is below the fuel tank. Replace that first, and see if it helps. Fuel pump has a small felt filter inside which again can be cleaned for which the fuel tank has to be removed and then the fuel pump inside. Replace your air filter too.

    Cheers!

Ohh sorry I mean to say I was suggested to replace fuel pump.
But does fuel pump need to be replaced in 41,000 kms ? The bike is serviced properly n mostly used by me.

Not really. Fuel pump lasts life long and they're pretty much reliable. Don't replace the pump. Replace the consumables first, and see if it helps. As I said air filter, fuel filter, and clean the fuel tank if you have to.

        Cheers!

Did you try the starting method given in manual in case of engine flooding?

Pull the the throttle to max, cranck for 5 seconds, release throttle. Repeat the same process until it starts. Don't crank continuously for more than 5 seconds. Try it. It may help.

I've given the bike to my trustable local mechanic. Let's see his conclusion. Then I would suggest him to replace fuel filter (I've feeling that this may be the culprit) & air filter.
I was bit worried at first as 17k expense just at 41,000 kms. But I guess Honda SC mechanic was exaggerating the problem.

I should have read manual properly. I didn't try this method. Thanks for sharing.

Does the fuel pump prime when you switch on the ignition ?
Like Mentioned here already fuel pumps don't just fail on bike that have been maintained well and serviced regularly, unless you have run the bike dry out fuel by chance repeatedly or dirty fuel. If both are not the case its worth chasing the issue a bit more in details before changing the fuel pump.

                Cheers

Empty your fuel tank and fill it with 99 or 97 octane fuel n see, change the fan and fuel pump relay as well.

Hey guys, have doubt. Is there a difference between the stock CBR and repsols version CBR ecu? One guy says the normal CBR Is restricted to 164kmph , and repsol version 170kmph?

Ofcourse, the Repsol stickers alone adds 5bhp and we all know orange coloured bikes are faster.
Jokes apart, Nothing of that sort . The 2013 onwards models had a different ecu with about 1bhp increase in them so pre 2013 models where 25bhp post 2013 were 26bhp, but in real world scenarios it made no difference at all.

After starting the ignition, everything looks normal. The neutral indicator, ABS light work perfectly. Even horn, Upper-dipper light work perfectly .
But bike refuses to start, it takes the spark but engine doesn't start. Bike will almost reach 41,000 kms soon. Don't know but I'm expecting fuel pump problem.
The same thing happening as in below video.

                        UPDATE
So mechanic said that the fuel pump had fault but it could be repaired. A motor needed to be replaced n fuel pump would start. It would cost around 4500 rs.

If you have the habit of running bike with less petrol in tank say about 2 liters then it can cause failure of Fuel pump. The fuel is the medium that cools the fuel pump and so the pump needs to be immersed in Petrol all the time .
                          Good luck

Well I guess this reason could be main culprit. I've habit of filling the petrol after petrol bar starts to blink..
From now onwards, I would take care of it.

That explains the premature dying on your fuel pump. And as psr said, running dry when you have the fuel light blinking always, would mean, your pump runs hotter and the fuel itself is what keeps the pump cool and lubricated. Yes, the motor alone can be replaced. Make sure, your inline fuel filter, fuel filer felt pads cleaned thoroughly before installation. And make sure you have a habit of keeping at least three liters in tank minimum hence forth.

Yes, I've to be very careful from now.
The worst part is that I knew the fuel level should be maintained b'coz of FI engine. But I never paid attention to it. Lesson learned in somewhat hard way. But happy that the bike had problem b'coz of known ignorance. Not b'coz of unknown uncontrollable reasons.
& to be very frank, this problem made me depressed. Despite of well maintaince why fuel filter failed in such early time. So many questions flooded in mind. But now very happy that a big problem has been averted.

So much thankful to xBHP forum n very helpful n knowledgeable members. Everytime perfect n logical replies are given to clear every doubt of mind.
