Re: Honda CBR 250R
Check out moto dynamics in neelankarai, motorcycle maniacs and service plus both in Anna nagar and perungudi(only service plus) all do a good job, if your looking for only Honda mechanics, there are two I know of ,didar Honda in egmore and svm Honda in aynavaram. You can get spares from either svm Honda spares or didar Honda spares .Originally posted by View PostThanks for the information.. i dont have experience modding bikes. Re: Honda CBR 250R
Hi everyone, hope anyone or everyone remembers me?
I guess its almost an year that I logged in here. And to be honest, I came here as I need some help with CBR250R's switch assembly.
My headlight switch is gone, pass switch is gone, dipper switch is gone, in short I would need new switches. Any idea of aftermarket ones or any other brand that might fit into it. Heard that ZMA (old) might fit, but then again the donor bike and mine are just too old now to even get parts.
Can these fir in CBR (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000...7%237567%23998)
What dia I have to look for? I have to find a solution as this lockdown ends.Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Did you try using Zorrik or WD40 and see if it's of any help? You can start off with it, if the switch innards are good and probably oxidation which is causing it to malfunction, a copious amount of these can make it work, giving them a good switch action. If you've tried these above steps and still not working, then it can be that the solders inside the switch gear could have come undone, resoldering them helps too. Many switches I know just de-solder and make then non functional. Solder them and they are back on track. Lastly and worse, if you have the wires themselves cracked, then it's time for a new pair of left and right switch set. Just to let you know, the older models did come with a headlight on off switch, but the BS4s were sans this switch, and I unfortunately don't know if any connectors/pins added or deduced in the newer to older. Instead of risking it from Aliexpress, I'd suggest you head to your nearest SVC, make an order for it and get it replaced. Peace of mind and in case of fault with Aliexpress item, you're in for trouble.Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostHi everyone, hope anyone or everyone remembers me?

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

B7ACKTHORN : Although I tried the WD40,but to no help, will look into the soldering thing, that might help me.
The problem with Honda SVC is, single side assembly costs 1800, and total it would be nearing 3700INR.Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Absolutely buddy. Honda's switch gears are exorbitantly priced and if you can source them locally at a multi brand two wheeler parts, you can get them a few hundred bucks cheaper. It's usually a TP manufacturer and sold in Honda branding which attracts prices. The same switch bought outside, can see a couple of hundred bucks less. But, I forgot about some other bike's swappabilty of the switch, just can't remember which bike it was. But do keep us posted.Originally posted by prateek2210 View Post@B7ACKTHORN : Although I tried the WD40,but to no help, will look into the soldering thing, that might help me.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
For custom works Joel worked on one before. He might have the details.Originally posted by princesirohi View PostHas anyone done mods like, bigger valves, bigger ports, cam etc
However currently the best bet is to replace the 250's engine components with the desired 300 ones. However after having ridden the 250 and 300 (Cbrs) the difference in power and riding quality is to be honest as different between the 150 and 180 pulsar. There is better accelration and for my weight +10 kmph topspeed but nothing groundbreaking.
If money permits try to get one of the HRC kits, those would beat any job that could be done in this country.
