300 cc kit is not an option. These mods are for competition purpose, hence has to be within the rules of fmsci pro stock category.

Then I am not aware of the fmsci rules, if so using ecus and generic weight reduction seems to be the route out.

IN a very basic sense the stock engine itself is good enough, to get more grunt for low price as mentioned ecu remapping free flow exhaust seems to be the route.

But do search for the HRC kit that honda officially released; those will be the ticket.

Hi this is one of my very first posts on this forum..I recently became a owner of a pre worshipped 2011 CBR 250R.
Unfortunately have to begin on a somber note...to ensure vehicle stays in operating condition had been starting the bike at regular intervals...however I happened to leave my keys in the bike at ON position and now neither is the display coming on or my rpm needle moving at all, I’m assuming the battery has become completely discharged...I would request the experienced people here to guide me on the best way to rectify the situation...
i was advised against push starting the bike as was told the rectifier would be destroyed/damaged...which brings me to another question what happens if ones battery discharged on the road...what do we do then?...
I will be really thankful for guidance and help so I can get my beauty going again...

ps: if this has already been covered before please excuse me this once

Since you've kept your ignition on, in all probability your battery should be completely drained which is why your console is dead. When battery is completely dead, push starting starting an FI motorcycle will not make the bike fire up. For the bike to work, the battery should prime the fuel pump and have little charge to at least make the horn work. If it's a completely dead battery, no use of push starting, it won't start no matter what you do. You have to remove your battery, and get it charged. Your RR unit will not be harmed by jump starting. If your battery gets discharged in the road, your bike will stall, especially if used with headlights, which means the battery is either not charging or the charging circuit is at fault. But, the bike will let you know the tell tale eventually.

Get your battery charged. If you have a car, you can jump start using car battery also with good quality jumper wires. But do it with caution, and discretion advised.

Looking forward to contribute to the thread..

Also Appreciate all the help...is it true that the rectifier can be destroyed by push starting?
Just asking as I was required to push start my r15 a few years ago also a friend mentioned he still push starts his ninja 650 when needed..it’s possible one may be on the highway and the battery dies...would push starting be possible then.

              cheers

As I explained previously, RR won't be harmed by push starting. Secondly, if the battery is completely dead i.e. absolutely nothing works, then no use jump starting an FI motorcycle.

                  Cheers!

I heard that you can use RTR200's Clipons how comfortable this setup is compared to a flat handle bar.

Any pointers on doing this conversion in chennai will also help.

                    Thanks for your help.

I have added a endurance exhaust from the CBR 250r one make , a k&n air filter and a aracer RC mini 5 ecu, planned to upbore the bike but only when I make it and out n out track bike, otherwise bike is fine, runs smooth, I just follow a simple principle of changing oil every 3000-4500 Kms or soo depending on the oil .

Yes. No issues in summer, in winter you'll feel some sluggishness, but once heated it'll be fine.

With welding techniques, you can even fit Z800's exhaust on a CBR.
