Anybody using or used these tyres? Just asking my mpsrs still have about half life left but I can keep this as a spare when my mpsrs completely lose grip or start puncturing very often, I haven't purchased these tyres, can get a set for my bike for free of needed, still I'm very happy with Michelin, 0 accidents since switching from mrf.

This is the best you can get. Wet grip, dry grip you give it any surface and it will stick like crazy.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostAnybody using or used these tyres? Where do you live? Do you fill up full tank every time or just ₹200-300?Originally posted by meisrossi View PostFuel tank is rusted from inside, any ideas to remove the rust..diesel washes done a couple of times. The rust screwed my fuel inject pump, spent a bomb on replacing it.
I still spotted rust, worried for the new pump now

TIA.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
I know in terms of grip it is superior to mpsrs but in terms of durability and puncture prone Ness Michelin seem to be better, the wet grip by Michelin is also good.Originally posted by Satyajit Samantray View PostThis is the best you can get. Talking about durability, it lasted around 15k kms on the mojo. And we got about 2 punctures in this period.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostI know in terms of grip it is superior to mpsrs but in terms of durability and puncture prone Ness Michelin seem to be better, the wet grip by Michelin is also good.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
The more softer the compound, the more prone it is to punctures. Harder compounds are always a compromise in terms of life and grip. Most of the tires out there, the Pirellis, the Metz and Michelins are in the upper medium quadrant (for a lack of a better term), they're neither not slick nor super hard. Metz and Pirellis are comparatively prone to easy punctures as opposed to Masseter, Revz and MPSRs. So, there's always a little sacrifice here and there.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostI know in terms of grip it is superior to mpsrs but in terms of durability and puncture prone Ness Michelin seem to be better, the wet grip by Michelin is also good.

The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Non cuts are those in which fairing has not to be cut to fix the sliders.Originally posted by Manan View Postwhat do you mean by non cut frame sliders? could you explain? Last I heard that frame sliders are attached to the main carriage frame and should be of the design that in case of excessive force capable bending the frame the sliders should break off. In this country I did not find any sliders that met such specifications or guaranteed and warranted such, so I did not look further.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Bah a simple photo comparison would have done a better job than the drama that eats up my precious data on this shitty mobile, I had seen the non cut versions that mount directly on to the frame near the engine, it was circulating in the Bangalore CBR group a while back. Let me see if that thing is still in stock.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Guys..need a help..after changing my tires.. whenever I go more than 60 km per hour, I am hearing some humming noise from front tyre side. It's similar like tyre noise or when tire air pressure is very low. While changing the front tire I saw that, similar to brake pad kind of part came out (one side) and they were correcting it. Today I was checking the front part and I can see metal rubbed mark on top the disc. I am attaching a photo, not sure how much it will help. My problem is, the good Cbr service centre is far away from my place. Kindly advise me. Also when I was checking after a few km drive, it's(disc) not so hot.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Its possible that the brake pad alignment has gone wrong and is rubbing against the disc, where do you stay? I advise you to go to Tansi Honda at whitefeild road opp laughing colors as soon as possible.Originally posted by yathi View PostGuys..need a help..after changing my tires.. whenever I go more than 60 km per hour, I am hearing some humming noise from front tyre side. It can be, but Karthik is the HRC trained mechanic, best one in the city and arguably one of the best in the country.Originally posted by yathi View PostI am staying at electronic city, may be Saturday I can visit there. But mate, this won't be corrected by other garages? I saw one good garage in HSR layout.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
guys, is this normal for a bike to feel a little unstable when going over white markers of the road? I have been noticing strange movements (as if chassis is a bit twisting) when i go over white markers of the road. IDK if this was present before but i consistently feel it since last one year.
Front tyre is asking for replacement. Rear is new
Bike is 2.5 years/30,000KM old with no coneset work done so far.
ps: bike remains stable and straight if i take my hands off the handle bars. No weird behavior if i shake handlebars while moving.Last edited by hgps; 04-13-2018, 11:58 AM.There is no destination, I just want to keep riding.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Yes, it would be the white markers are painted on the road and often slippery, recommend that you do not drive there, and change the tyres as soon as possible. To be safe check the coneset at the next service, or as per manual whichever comes earlier.Originally posted by hgps View Postguys, is this normal for a bike to feel a little unstable when going over white markers of the road? Re: Honda CBR 250R
Check if the front tyre has become square. You will notice that cornering on bad roads is more unstable with an old, squarish tyre. I don't think your coneset is the problem.Originally posted by hgps View Postguys, is this normal for a bike to feel a little unstable when going over white markers of the road?
