Re: Honda CBR 250R
Hey buddy, is the stain gone? If not, cut a lemon in half and rub it to the stained surface and see. It worked on my car once, had a similar issue!Originally posted by Deathwing View PostHey guys, haven't posted in a while, running an aracer mini rc5 with a full HRC endurance system and a k&n air filter, and I'm quite pleased with the performance but apart from that , had small unfortunate thing happen, basically my bike got stained by acid water from the air conditioner, didn't leave it covered on a couple of days. Wanted to know if there is any solution or I need to get the bike repainted.07 HH Zma

The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
I'm trying to source the tubes itself seperately , I think they are due replacement, replacing the entire fork kit is about 10k which is something I don't think is needed , as it makes no sense , just the fork tubes which aren't sold separately from Honda .Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostQuote from memory, it should be upward of 3k plus per tube. Re: Honda CBR 250R
All fork tubes are sold as a separate piece for the CBR. You can check with the nearest dealer.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostI'm trying to source the tubes itself seperately , I think they are due replacement, replacing the entire fork kit is about 10k which is something I don't think is needed , as it makes no sense , just the fork tubes which aren't sold separately from Honda .

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Hey guys I'm facing a odd issue, I'm not sure if clutch adjustment is needed or change of clutch cable, basically after 6000-7000rpm the rpm jumps, it doesn't move too freely up in the rev band, anyone faced anything like this? I have a feeling my clutch needs adjustment .

Re: Honda CBR 250R
A couple of pointers. Too little clutch play would mean, clutch drag at high rpms, which would cause clutch to slip and shoot up rpms. Secondly, faulty clutch plate, pressure plate too can slip the clutch at higher rpm.
Start off by adjusting the clutch cable, both near the yoke and the clutch cover, see if it helps. If it doesn't, clutch plate and the paraphernalia might be tossed up. Get it inspected along with your engine oil level.
How it helps.
Keep us posted.
Cheers!
