Neatly modded Prince. Next up is the ECM Stage 1 mod, or have you done that too? Nevertheless, neat track prep bike. The only thing missing, from my point of view would be that signature HONDA sticker on the black plastic belly cowl on both the sides, and she would be a looker.

    Cheers!

    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

I was wonddering whether to go with ECU flash or Powercommander. Couldnt make up my mind. Hence decided to first praticise and improve technique and speed.

      Then decide.

May be u will see an RC390 Or this bike with full race fairing.

This setup consists of generic 10w led spots fitted on to a custom made number plate holder/ bracket mounted to the stock number plate bracket.

Wiring also incorporates a mandatory relay & switch. This setup is good but not great on the highway.I am looking for better options for the led spots.

The spots are vibration free due to the machined bracket.

            Hi all,

For last one week, it takes 4 to 6 times to self-start my CBR, and some times it starts and stops within 3 to 5 seconds (Battery is new one replaced 2 months before and it is a 5amph amaron one).

Any points to note and take care of, also i planned to use yamaha pea-cleaner to clean the FI unit. Please advise....

how many km has the bike run ?
try fueling from a diff pump once and go ahead with the fuel additive , also maybe swap the plug with a known good spark plug and check.
if that doesn't fix the problem, you might want to have the valve clearances checked and set to spec.

Have you cleaned your air filter anytime recently? Honda advises to replace the air filters after every 10k KMS. If you haven't replaced your air filter, it's time to do that. Secondly, stalling can be due to blocked fuel tank breather hole which is on the cap, you will have two small holes on the side of the cap, which is the breather, make sure this small hole is not blocked which would mean the bike will have starting trouble especially when the tank is near empty due to low fuel and vapor pressure inside. Make sure your start off with your air filter, secondly fuel tank breather hole, then PEA from Yamaha can be used. Start off with air filter, fuel breather hole and then let's see what transpires

                  Keep your observations posted.

                  Cheers!

30k, hmm definitely would advice to get the valve clearances checked and get it done from a knowledgeable source. you also mentioned earlier about using a 5Amp battery.. iirc the cbr doesn't use a 5Ah battery.. it is a 6Ah battery. Pl share the battery model number, you will also find its Ah rating usually on the top on an amaron battery.
do keep us posted on how it goes.

I had a fall from my bike around 6 months ago and the handle had gone sideways with some damage to the left faring too and had it all repaired and replaced from the service center (Vihaan Honda Thane). But since then I always feel that the bike is weighing more towards the left side of the front tyre.
I raised the issue to the mechanic during my most recent service around a month back and he reduced the issue a lot but since the past 2 weeks I've again been facing the issue like before.
Also I noticed that since the accident the part where the key is put is also leaning slightly leftward (picture below) . But the mechanic said that its not an issue and won't affect the handling of the bike.
Kindly help me out with what the issue could be. Click image for larger version

You could try the below procedure if the fork tubes are perfectly straight.
Note that this procedure will only help if the T-stems & fork tubes have no bend or damage.
Loosen the front axle nut slightly & then loosen the two bolts on the lower bracket of the T-stem (triple clamps)
You can sit on the bike & then by holding on to the front brake apply pressure on the handle bars to compress the fork tubes a couple of times.
This way the fork will align up with the bottom & top of the T-stem.
Before tightening the bottom bolts do compress & hold the forks down & then tighten the two bolts & then finally tighten the axle nut in the front wheel.
Do try this & report back your results.

Sorry for the late reply..... Its amaron "powerzone 5AH" battery .... And please suggest any good service Center for "Engine Valve Clearance setting . . . . Other than DIDAR Egmore"

If your vehicle is out of warranty then I can suggest an independent FNG who is not only expert with CPR, but also has patience to listen

iirc the stock battery rating of the cbr is 6Ah. you seem to have installed a tad smaller capacity battery. the electronics on these bikes can be sensitive at times, try and get it replaced with the stock battery (amaron has one APBTZ7L)
as for the service center or mechanic, i'd suggest you check with aargee.
