In the context you have referred upon, you feel more heat on the CBR\GT because they have artifical cooling. When the engine heats up beyond a range the radiator kicks in and cools the liquid that covers the block. The radiator blows the air to cool the liquid and this passive air hits you.
The Pulsar has a oil cooler that works on a similar logic though.
The Apache has a Air cooled engine, so there is no fan and the wind blast cools it.
The benefit of having a Liquid Cooled Engine is that you can push the engine to higher rev ranges (both as a rider, and as a manufacturer)
Hope it answers your query
A new engine has a very high tolerance in parts and hence mechanical friction is high. As the engine is used (run in) the internals are smoothened out and the friction reduces.
