  • Really got to share with you guys this.

Yesterday started from office at around 8 PM. Was raining heavily. But that never stops me. Fuel is low so i know i need to refill. Bunk is some 12 kms away from office on my way home. So was riding in rain happily. Traffic was extreme due to rain.

Reached the bunk, filled up the tank and started. Within a km found that the temperature meter is full showing excess heat, but the overheat symbol was not blinking(Normally when the meter is full, this should start blinking).

I started wondering what happened now, because my bike does not get heated up nowadays.. Even this time I cant feel the heat but the marker shows high.

So started riding at constant speed(even though slow) to see whether this comes down. But did not happen. So parked my bike on the side of the road and thought of waiting for a while for the heat to come down. Was raining heavily and I was standing for at-least 10 mins.

Then keyed-in and was waiting for the marker to display the temperature now. It was slowly climbing to the top and reached full again. I was shocked. The bike is not even started. And it has got 10 mins of rest and still temperature is at the highest. Checked for radiator and found it was working. couldnt find the issue. So thought that I am not gonna wait here and ride home.

So started the bike and rode steadily, feeling bad within myself. Then suddenly something popped up in my mind....

Which meter am I looking at.. Oh shxt! I was looking at the fuel indicator for so long and mistook it for the temperature gauge. Temperature meter is showing just 2 bars.. That was complete stupidity
Had a laugh and went home. Sigh of relief!!

Sorry for wasting your time(making you read this) as well guys.. But thought of sharing this funny incident with you all..

Well, thats really funny ... while reading itself i was thinking this cud be the case and then when came to the end it turned out to be the same ... lol... gud one man !!! this is ok but be attentive while driving, you cannot afford to lose concentration or misinterpretation while riding ... take care , ride hard and safe

        • Believe me, my concentration is at the highest whenever I am riding.
May be I was concentrating too much on the road forgetting the rest

                • Now I own a Superbike.. yippeeee

Finally took the delivery today evening. Bike is home now.

Reached at 4 PM to Garware Motors. Carrying my Jacket, Gloves, helmet and a box of sweets
The bike was ready and was wrapped in a red cover..Nice presentation..
The showroom guys were very courteous & helping and explained the papers to me.
Then it was pooja time. They had arranged stuff for a small pooja and sweets. After Pooja, we all had some sweets..
I was given my welcome kit..
                  1. A motocross helmet (?? hahaha)
                  2. A key chain
                  3. A goggle (I find these way far off my taste)
                  4. A T-Shirt (it is still packed so no idea what it is).
                  5. A cap... (my daughter is loving that)
                  6. A poster (I left that at the showroom as I could not carry that with me on bike).
                  Checked the electricals etc..
The bike was ready for delivery..
Had my jacket, gloves, helmet on..
oops... The bike did not start ...
The guys checked again..after sometime they found that the petrol quantity is very small...
Search for petrol can begins.. and after that one guy goes to nearby petrol pump to get some petrol...
I started feeling hot in the riding gear, so it goes off and wait for petrol starts...
no petrol pump is ready to give petrol in a can.. reason:it is illegal..
Another guy goes to petrol pump in the uniform..comes back with 300ml petrol..That is max petrol pump guys gave him..and the reason, any bike can go at least 15-20 KM in 300ml... why these guys are insisting on at least 3 liter
with this 300ml petrol showroom guys go back to petrol pump to get more petrol.. i guess around 3 liter..
Again had my riding gear on...
Finally, I take off at around 5:30 with all this.. But all through the guys and the girl at showroom were pretty courteous.

12 KM journey to home begins in the peak traffic hours. could shift to 4th gear only 2-3 time, else 3rd gear. As other guys had reported earlier.. started feeling that thighs are getting fried after sometime only.. Hope this heat will reduce with the time and as I get used to of the bike...

Almost at all red lights, one or the other person asked me.. kitne kee hai.. kitne CC kee hai.. and our favourite question.. KITNA DETI HAI... hahahahaa..

Reached home at around 6:15.. wifey and kids were waiting.. had another round of pooja at home..

It started raining so no more riding..else I had planned for a ride in the night after dinner... will have to wait till tomorrow...

                  Pics to follow...

Congrats mittal on your brand new GT.
Yes bro afterwards the heat will reduce and remember to keep the engine OFF when not in use eg: while waiting at the traffic signal.

There are no other charges, i would shortly be moving to bangalore and as per my queries, i was told to submit the docs as per what is requested in karnataka Transport dept.'s official website (FAQ).
