The GT's been sitting at the dealer for a week now, they've actually started using it as a display unit by now. I didn't want to bring it home unregistered. Registration, Insurance, etc have been getting delayed due to Holidays. I am being told that i can pick it up on Monday eve.
Not happy with the dealer, its taking them 3 days (excluding the 4 day holiday) to register the bike? Anyway... more waiting

^^^ gotcha, brother...let's wait for Tuesday then, to hear how u take ur ride home. Good luck with that...BTW, have you got the the break-up of the cost to be paid, as in (ex-showroom price+x+y+z) = 5-point-something Lac? Can you post it here, if u don't mind?

Bro, the Ex-sh price for solid colour is 4,83,000, Including state tax, regn, insurance, etc - the on-road price for TN is 5,37,731, this would vary from state to state.Originally posted by JonnyRider View Post^^^ gotcha, brother...let's wait for Tuesday then, to hear how u take ur ride home. ^^^That's fantastic. I can imagine how you are feeling right now, with a V-twin parked in your house. The heart skips a beat every now n then and hands itch to wring the throttle.
But you need to take it slowly...atleast during the run-in period. Congrats fr your steed.

Congratulation... it was a long wait for you.. but definitely worth it ... be easy during run-in..Originally posted by Brat View PostYes indeed. Delivery exp and pics coming soon. As soon as i manage to stay indoors for longer

I have been impatiently waiting for rains to stop in Pune so that I can plan for a reasonably long ride.. these rains in last 2 weeks have spoilt the whole mood for me..... and in fact no roads are left to ride on.. only potholes..

^^^@Mel: where did you procure these sliders from, bro? Any chance that the Garware dealers are planning to sell them to add to buyer-satisfaction? Like the paddock-stand, for which I asked them the other day...and I was told they might start keeping stock of those...

Motografix tankpads are one of the best tankpads. I bought mine from Planetdsg and it cost me 2300 bucks.Originally posted by men_in_jean View Post^^ 1800!!! It is expensive when I think that many crooks here in chennai will rip it off the bike if at any chance I leave my bike alone.
Cheaper to buy online from Motografix Tankpads Online - Main Page or Official Motografix - Accept no imitations
Its not that easy to rip off the tankpad as the adhesive is very strong... yet keep an eye on your bike when its parked.
ATGATT - Because hospital ceilings are boring !!!
