    • Lovely pics, and the white bike does stand out in a crowd

Hope the bike didn't get a brown tan after a ride in the slush

      Enjoy munching miles on her!!!

Even I would like to know that. Looking at the pic above, you seem to be really stretching to grab the handle bar leaving quite a big gap behind the seat. Is that normal posture for you or is it just this pic? Because you seem to be comfortably reaching the handle bar in all other pics.

And not to mention, that's a beautiful bike. Congrats buddy !! Enjoy the ride

I am 5.8", and I can place both my foot down completely. And I do not ride completely stretching my arms. I bend it a little to avoid pressure on wrists.

The first 2 weeks was so painful to my wrists. And after adjusting the arm position, this is never seen again. And my first long ride of 80 kms was not so comfortable to my back. But now it has vanished. May be I have hit the right posture(I am not sure). Have tried small rides of 100+ kms, which was ease and no hassles to the back. Yet to take it for a long ride.

I almost dropped the bike here- see the slush. With 25 kms on odo this was suicidal.

                    • @nagoo: Now I know you are hoping the full white is available for the 250 too!
That aside, I'm actually waiting to see whether they will really price it under 2L ex-showroom.

@GT owners: Are both those headlights projectors? What is the battery spec?

                      • Last saturday, we had a small GT650 meet in chennai. Just 4 of us(myself, Brat and couple of non-xbhpians). We met and then had a small ride to a destination that is around 65kms from the city. It was pure awesomeness to see/hear/feel GT's roaring from all sides of you. It was a good and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Most of us were cruising at 120-140's, with a small rip up to 160-180's when the road is clear and safe.

After more than 3 months, now i feel that the bike handles like a dream. The bike is rock solid at high speeds, and cornering is easier.. Very happy with my choice.

Yes, both are projectors. Not sure about battery.

Thanks a lot Brat, well i have the torso protection ready but i wanted to be easy and comfortable as it was my first time on a bike that too GT after an year of my accident. I just wanted to be free and comfy so avoided the jacket.

Thanks brother, well about the brown tan, my heart pinched taking my new ride in slush and it should take me an hour now to clean the slush and prepare it for night ride.

Thanks buddy, well to be honest till now i havent found the perfect position as i did just 30 kms yest through dense traffic and slush etc. Put the strain on wrist and elbow so they are hurting today.

The tank on GT is huge and my heigh is less so i do have to stretch out but its really not that much, looks much aggravated in the pic.

What i read on the forums was to bend the elbow a lil, will try it out today.

I am 167cm and pretty comfortable with the seating position.. However still need to figure out the right position for elbows as on the bumpy roads even a small ride is putting a lot of strain.. I keep the elbows a little bent..not much..
