    Exhaust note is quite subjective. Most men prefer the stock exhaust since it has a meaty, sweet sounding growl to it. Yoshimura slip-on's come very highly recommended for the GT. Personally, i am looking to bolt it on after a few thousand kms. If you prefer further choices, look here.
    Thanks for the information buddy! Actually, I'm looking it for a friend. Could you also help me with the pricing of the Yoshimura or two brothers for GT in India and where can I get them?

        Yoshi's would cost less than 30k. This is their India distributor contact. Get in touch with them for exact pricing.

I had my eye on the GT650R from the day its pics were posted in the News section, it had something which always drew my attention towards it but achieving it at that stage was extremly tough. I would start with a brief intro about me. Booked white GT650R and delivery is slated for next week...

            • The excruciating wait would hopefully end tomorrow, the cheques got cleared today and i would have the bike tomorrow afternoon. How to sleep today? Have classes from 9 to 1 in which i wont be able to study for sure and then i will take the delivery in afternoon before 5 pm when the peak traffic hits roads.

              Heard the heating is significant for first few days so dont want to take chances and fry my legs.

              @harsha 645
              Thanks harsha, working hard for buying something and paying for it is equally important so that we respect our machine.
              I would think twice before doing anything stupid as my hard earned money is at stake , first impressions and pics would be up tommo.

              @MJ1984
              Thanks

              @Brat
              Thanks bro, well the wait has been quite excruciating, i hope it ends tomorrow. Just want to bring the bike home safely then i will practice riding it early morning before traffic hits to get accustomed to the power and weight.

              @rakshit rana
              Thanks buddy, i hope you get towards your dream quickly. Our biker's dream dont end, 250 to 650, then to 1000 and its endless

                All the best buddy ... Carry your riding gear along with you when going to take delivery And yes the heat on first few days will be significant.. but after 200Km, it has reduced significantly.. So don't worry..

                • and please stay safe. I was at a hyosung service center and 3/5 bikes were there because they were involved in accidents. One of them had just tipped over, but two of them were involved in accidents. I found it quite odd that those many no of bikes were involved.

                  So just be more careful, make sure your riding gear is always on and stay safe.

                        • Thanks everyone for your wishes, have brought the bike back home safely, got the Pooja done and now am dead tired. GT is not an easy bike to play around with especially in traffic. My first impressions would be up shortly with a few pics.

                          The delivery was pretty good, my xBhp brothers gathered around at the showroom and made the occasion special, took blessings from dad and off we went lil knowing what was to come through. We were finding our way out and wonder what struck dad, he asked someone and he sent us the wrong way and my GT would be the first one to get into inches of thick slush, mud and broken roads within 50 kms. I almost dropped the bike once and it took me all the experience and strength to get the bike out safely.

                          Once on the expressway i could really feel the engine and heat. The heat was enormous, once rolling the bike is good but get stuck in 1st gear or idle and the legs start getting roasted. The indicator hit 1 bar above middle but i didnt feel the radiator fans kick in..

                          The engine is torquey, an absolute delight, even in run in the bike was just pacing ahead, i had to work hard to keep speeds under 100 so that Dad's Scorpio could catch up. Great engine.

                          The brakes - well i think they can be better, either mine got a lil soaky due to mud and slush or its like that. Its strong and good but i think the front ones could have been better.

                          Handling - Nothing much tried here, no plans of cornering till i get some experience on this bike, straight line stability is effin awesome, you would think the Speedo is joking when it shows 90, it feels like 50-60.

                          Issues :
                          1. The front visor is vibrating and making an irritating noise, i kept my hand and it vanished so i think it can be cured. The vibes from other areas are negligible till 5k rpm, if this noise goes i would be a happy man.

                          2. The right side RVM is loose, you set it somewhere and it goes off somewhere else , already talked to the sales manager and he said he would get it rectified within 2 days.

                          Overall:
                          The experience was stunning, the kind of Q's like "Bhaiyya isme kitni race hai" were funny, the stares etc make you feel good and the white GTR was looking super sexy.

                          Now lets see hows Garware's after sales service, thats the only doubt i have.

                          Pics comin up.

                              This is what i was talking about, see the roads

                              I almost dropped the bike here- see the slush. With 25 kms on odo this was suicidal.
