Well said bro, but still when some one face problems from things, its natural to be frustrated.

BDW to all GT 650R owners, i am continuously noticing these issues in my bike and want to know, if this is same with other's too? I have inquired from the hyosung people, but i am not satisfied with the answers:

    1. The front transparent panel vibrates a lot at low rpm's and i believe, it produce more sound than bike itself can.
Solution as given by Hyosung garware engineers: Its common problem in all the bikes, due to the power produced by V-twin engine and low thickness of panel.
    Status: Unsatisfactory

    2. When i pull bike back to turn it while in off / on position, its hard to do it and added to this, it produce a strange sound like something is touching brakes and stopping rear tyre from moving.
Solution as given by Hyosung garware engineers: Its common problem in all the bikes as same and has no solution.
    Status: Unsatisfactory

    3. Bikes rear tyre wobbles while braking sometimes specially at corners. I always use simultaneous braking technique for both brakes, still i feel like that. I never faced this on my Yamaha fazer 150 or even my splendor
    >> Not asked from hyosung people, will show them the issue, on first service. I am in jaipur, and here is no showroom/ service station for this bike. So have to wait to take it to Gurgaon until next 600 kms completes.

    4. When i start the bike and than put in into first gear, engine always stops, and i have to restart it in first gear again. Gear shifting is also getting harder day by day for first 3 gears.
    >> Not asked from hyosung people, will show them the issue, on first service.

And advice required, can i wash my bike direct from the pipe throwing water at bit high pressure? Do i need to keep some precautions while washing it?

      Hi vikyk.
1.My front fairing visor vibrates too.

2.The rear brakes do make noise when you move it from standstill. It's because of the rear disc brake pad.

3.Rear tyre wobbling not come across it.Get it checked immediately it maybe misaligned.

4.Yes bro when you start the bike and put it into 1st gear the bike will move ahead and stall.Keep the revs a bit higher while riding the bike off from the 1st gear.

You can wash the bike with a water pipe but take care while spraying water near the electrical located at the handlebar.

I can relate to what he feels, he is pretty much experiencing the same thing that i do with my 1984 RD 350. These beasts are quite infamous for their intolerable tantrums which will never cease to occur. It has put me in unimaginable situations. Its still a part of the stable and a prized possession, scares the living daylights out of me when i twist the throttle in 2nd gear, that makes up for all the frustrations.

Your point is understood. Hopefully your situation will change soon and you will upgrade to a better bike. Good luck!

          1. >>>Aren't you looking for any solution too it, it really sucks.

          2.>>. Ohk, thanks for this.

          3. >>> I need to wait for next 600 KMS until my first service. I can't take it gurgaon now or then, and can't call the guys from there, as firstly they take a lot days to come here and also charge too huge amount for just one trip to my home. I mean they charge Rs. 3500 for one time visit, from gurgaon to jaipur which is lot more than, if they use a super luxury Volvo bus to travel just 250 kms, and a nice dinner and lunch.

          4. >>> It keep revs high always, but i am still not satisfied with the way it behaving.

          >>> Thanks, i will keep it in mind.

1 -> I had this issue, and my SVC guys fixed it. After that I did not have any vibrations, until the day it was ripped on the tracks.

2 -> I have felt this. SVC guys say that the disk gets some dirt accumulated, so asked me to clean it everyday with a cloth before moving the bike. Havent checked lately.

3 -> Surely an issue with your bike. never felt it. Fix it.

4 -> Bike moves freely after 2k rpm in first gear. So rev a little more that what you are doing now.

            • The bike is beautiful and very big. Especially, it's tank. It's REALLY BIG. Looking at the pic below, it looks like the biker is literally hanging on to the tank. And this is what I wanted to know about from people who have seen this bike in flesh. Is its tank so big as to not give it a good look? Doesn't such a big tank hit your chest in potholes when driving, more so because I see the biker has to bend a lot to grab the handle?

Hi hss.In this pic the rider is completely tucked in.On normal riding you do feel the tank near the chest but there is no issue.

the First 3 i can ans eventhough i don't own GT and i have R15 .. as these are common problem faced

                  1. Its true visor makes more vibes .... solution - get a small tiny piece of rubber and after carefully checked the joint [area between front mask and visor , and the screws] place/fix this rubber piece .. if u do it correctly u get == 0 vibes

                  2. check the spacing b/w break pad and disk .. and also as someone mentioned small stones/gravels might stuck in there which can make noise and check break cable..is it squeezing the breaks in the event of handle bar turn [highly unlikely]

                  3. read tyre wobbles - either its not properly aligned , or less air .. or loose

hope these may help u .. and no need to wait till servicing ..these are just 5 min jobs .. they might fix it rightaway

                  • After lots of ifs and buts, yes and no, fights between head and heart, and yes, sleepless nights; I have finally booked a GT650R on Saturday with Pune dealership. I have been told that bike will be delivered in 10-12 days.

A question for the guys, who have taken the delivery of the bike. I am told by the dealer that I will also get a welcome kit along with the bike, that includes a Helmet also. He did not have the sample helmet with him, but he told me that it will be black Wega helmet and that will come with the tinted visor. Did you guys get the welcome kit/Helmet and how is the quality of the helmet. If the helmet is good quality I can skip buying a news one and transfer its budget to other riding gear .. any reviews on that (helmet) from the owners.

Now the search for the suitable gear and accessories will start .

                    Cheers

A helmet on any SBK should be a good quality helmet..! Any Indian brand helmet is not suitable for a SBK.

My LS2 was moving here and there a little while I was riding on the GT..so better buy a GOOD helmet.

Your helmet and Jacket are looking cool.... would you mind sharing the price you paid for the gear.. (you can PM me).

However the Vega one, looks more of MotoCross type with the shape. Not too impressed .. so not striking off the Helmet from the list of gear to be purchased, for the moment ..
