Nice to see owners pouring in their experiences here. Ive been hooked on this thread ever since the deliveries started happening. It would be really great if owners could post their total costs incurred over time (services / body panel replacements) to help potential owners gauge the TCO for a mid level superbike like the GT650R.

@ Melroy - That was one great riding group. Loved the pic of the Ninja flanked by the massive VFR and GT650R.

Did all of you get welcome kit from Garware motors consisting of helmet etc? I was told about it from an owner and i havent got one, was it only for early birds or for everyone?

Hi and congratulations to every gt650 owners.My name is Vasim, and i am from pune. I am new to this thread . i have got the deliwery of my Gt 650r just last week. this is my first post . although i was a member since i had booked the bike, i used to read all the post added uptil now THANKS A LOT to everyone to share their experiences which has really helped me a lot to understand my new Hyosung GT650r.I have taken a satin black colour, the pics will be shortly uploaded.there are lot of experienced guys on this thread specially meltroy . this name seems very prominent and very helpfull to all the hyosungers.i have a few queries , firstly i hear some Chiiirrr Chiiirrrr sound from the front side when i use the front brakes is this normal, as said by the showroom guys. and secondly what is the max. rpm used in the first 1000 kms. Thanks in advanse i will be in touch with all of you guys.

Yes i also got welcome kit. I think it was for all. amit2hotgun, who wrote his review about bike some posts back, also mentioned same thing that he got it. Even i think i didn't get one thing, "the chocolates", as he mentioned below.

It may be because breakpads are new. I was getting same noise in starting when i got my bike, but it was from rear tyre. Still got that checked. Max. RPM should be under 5000K for first 1000 kms as i did and as garware people told me at the time of delivery. Although you can open it some times to more RPM if you get a open drooling stretch as all of us did

The free helmet doesn't suit for the GT... its of no use for this bike

Not sure if people are already aware but a new Garware-Hyosung showroom has been opened in Delhi. I went to Lajpat Nagar market yesterday and saw the beautiful GT650R and ST7. Could not go in as the showroom was about to be closed.

Thanks bro.for the prompt reply and to be the first one too. The power of this machine is so irresistible to keep it under 5000rpm.......but still have to for a better long life engine.

Got a call from Garware motors today. They informed me that the new naked GT650 is getting released on 14th of this month and invited me to the showroom on the day.

@Melroy: Cool pics man.. fantastic, keep it going.. have fun.

@Vasim: One issue is that the disc gets accumulated with dirt mainly if there is even a bit of rain in your place. What I normally do is wipe my disc plates with a cloth in the morning before starting(mainly if it had rained earlier). This has worked for me in getting the friction/sound out.

Yeah, but its of good quality atleast compared to other things. I gave it to my brother who ride fazer 150, and the helmet suits the bike well enough.

Yeah, i checked it too on garware website. Dealers are increasing in numbers pretty faster. I hope service will be better than gurgaon showroom at delhi one.

Surely i will do that, but isn't it tough to stop yourself when someone is actually saying anything to tease you and provoke for wrong reason? Its really impossible to see someone intentionally humiliating your passion and dream. "Laato ke bhoot baaton se kaha maante hain"....
