Do get your polishing done but most important is protecting it from major scratches when the bike falls,do fit frame sliders.
Thanks bro! What a feeling to look at this bike parked in your garage every morning! Hard to believe that I finally own my own beautiful beast I am going to get the frame sliders soon, have got them ordered.
And fantastic pictures bro, you are truly happening! The trip seems fun and the bike pictures are orgasmic. Hoping for something like this in Bangalore soon. I have started a group for all Hyosung Owners on Facebook Log In | Facebook
Everybody is welcome to join and share views and pictures. Plus it will help us plan outings.

Great responsibility comes with great power.
Thanks Patty, great power will be handled with great responsibility.
The color fading issue is very unfortunate. Make sure the dealer takes care of it. We don't deserve such things.

Thank you Arun. If you are ever in Bangalore, will let you take it for a spin

Bro, everybody is supposed to get the welcome kit; Hyosung Helmet, Hyosung Sunglasses, Hyosung Leather Keychain, Hyosung T-Shirt and maybe Cap and Chocolates. Do ask your dealer to deliver it to you asap. I am surprised they did not give that to you during delivery. Very bad.

I am new to this thread . i have got the deliwery of my Gt 650r just last week. this is my first post . although i was a member since i had booked the bike, i used to read all the post added uptil now THANKS A LOT to everyone to share their experiences which has really helped me a lot to understand my new Hyosung GT650r.I have taken a satin black colour, the pics will be shortly uploaded.there are lot of experienced guys on this thread specially meltroy . this name seems very prominent and very helpfull to all the hyosungers.i have a few queries , firstly i hear some Chiiirrr Chiiirrrr sound from the front side when i use the front brakes is this normal, as said by the showroom guys. and secondly what is the max. rpm used in the first 1000 kms. Thanks in advanse i will be in touch with all of you guys.
Vasim bhai..congratulations! I know its difficult to excercise restraint with so much power on tap. And this is just a 650! I am not exceeding 5K, at most 7K when I get a safe stretch but very rarely. Best of luck to you!

But i got one thing extra "The CAP" . Although let me mention everything is of low quality and useless, except helmet and keychain.
It may be because breakpads are new. I was getting same noise in starting when i got my bike, but it was from rear tyre. Still got that checked. Max. RPM should be under 5000K for first 1000 kms as i did and as garware people told me at the time of delivery. Although you can open it some times to more RPM if you get a open drooling stretch as all of us did
I didnt get the cap Will have to enquire. Yes the freebies are not up to the mark when it comes to quality but the Helmet (Off Roading) and the Keychain are pretty good. I liked the T-Shirt as well. The noise does come from the brakes but that should subside as things set into place and with good cleaning as suggested by Men_In_Jean.

Arre Sunny bhai, kaiko tension lete ho None of us here will ever behave that way, we are mature bikers. Viky (Gym jane wala banda) just put forth his emotions but didnt actually do anything rash. But you are right. Lets just say his passion for his new sports bike took over sanity for a minute but he seems like a nice guy. I definitely understand how it feels if someone calls your sportsbike a modified one.
And yeah, I got my XBHP Anniversary edition a couple of days back...fantastic! Just fantastic! Your American road trip...what a read! Am not sure if you are a better biker or photographer! I had complaints about me spending too much time with my biking passion and not with my wife
Keep up the good work. You have enlightened a lot of bikers.

    Regards,

    AG

Thanks for appreciating me bro ,people must be taking me as "all time fighter guy" here... Definitely i behave mature most of the time in terms of my bike, but i still want to punch that guy seriously , so that he can think 100 times before looking at anyone's REAL bike next time..

Viky (gym jaane wala banda), that was cool BDW ...lolzzzz

First of all Congrats on your GT buddy, wanted to congratulate you but was down with food poisoning so it just slipped my mind. 3 days away from the GT and i forgot almost everything, life seems so lifeless without the v twin beast.

The photos were good and the first ride impressions were amazing, you took out all the pros and cons accurately in the very first ride.
As for the welcome kit, had a talk with the dealer they said they went out of stock so once they get it they would definitely give it to me, they havent forgotten about it

Girlfriends , am searching for even one and this guy has "s" after the beautiful word girlfriend , time to hit the gym and make some dolas or else the beautifully designed pillion seat of the GT would go waste.

            • Dropped into Bangalore this morning from Chennai for a business visit.
Rode back to Chennai in the evening. Will be relocating to Koramangala permanently since 15th Oct onwards. Will have a G2G with bangalore folks shortly!

Mel - i dont know how you managed the 1600k on the Fazer, honestly...
700k was pushing it for me in a day that too in the GT. Honestly, hats off to everyone who wear the IBA badge... aptly named saddle sore.

Congrats Bro! Build your pace gradually while running in, you will feel the difference from as low as 5000kms on the ODO and enjoy quality run-in benefits.
