Can someone tell me how much the GT650R does in first gear @ 6.5k rpm? My bike crosses 55 kmph. But the internet says it will reach 65kmph @ 6.5k rpm(I am talking about the 72 bhp bike only)

Update: The heat has reduced drastically in the last few days. Or may be I am used to it now!
Were you zooming on the OMR this Friday (yesterday) at around 3 PM? Violet striped shirt and all.

Curious. That stock sound was insane!
RIP Marco Simoncelli! You will not be forgotten!

And once you take the delivery, time for you to zoom it by 'chowki dhani', loved that place..

Flickability control ascertains more into individualistic riding credibilities, once Rider is confident and accustomed with the posture, the bike will be in his command, I did twisting and maneuvering in Traffic and I was comfortable with the bike's response. No other issues as such.

but the front number plate position is not good, can we do something about it.
I'll be positing it for the 3rd time: front no. plate and saree guard will come off in the first service..

        Thanks for your wishes! Tyres - Bridgestone Battlax BT56 R & F

GT650R owners, throw in your inputs, I have clocked 180 kms., the bike returned me 12.5 kmpl (brim to brim method).. I have known owners with GSX1300R (Hayabusa) returning 14 kmpl (highway), mileage is not a question but does it comply with all other GT650Rs! My riding was 70% city while 30% highway, 90% of the riding was within 5k rpm while 10% within 6k rpm..

Yes. It was me! I was in office, came to seat after lunch.. couldnt concentrate on work sitting upstairs with the bike standing down in the parking lot.. so came down and took it for a spin in OMR..

@milanchrian: The on-road in chennai is around 5.37 lacs..

I feel the bike is very flickable and has awesome control.. However it might differ for each..

@man in jean: Awesome pics bro, but i still think red is best . BDW i would like to know, should i drive my bike myself back from guragaon to jaipur, when i get the delivery or ask showroom people to deliver it to me in jaipur.

Personally i am interested in driving it back myself from gurgaon to jaipur. But the only issue is that i can't get it registered in gurgaon because of "no permanent address certificate". So when i will be riding the bike back to jaipur, it will have no registration numbers.

It is a Nikon D90 bro.

@vikyk: I like the red-black combo more than anything
Better ask for a delivery home. COPS would really trouble driving on an un-registered vehicle. that too mainly if caught driving across cities.. Dont want to take a chance...
