psr sir, any inputs from your side?Originally posted by paradoxr9019 View PostBro my duke doesn't make that khat khat noise when the chain is lubed. I will also check the slack and try to true the wheel.
But my actual query was with the electrical system of the bike..
I shorted the +ve of the left and right indicators and when turn on either side of the indicators, all four of em flash but when the engine is running its like as though the diodes are blinking alternatively as though they are running off an ac current... Obviously some current is flowing back. So I was thinking you could shed some light on that
Two! Would love to see some pictures from your side, I can't get my hands around how the rear foot peg can scrape a saree guard. The saree guard is tucked in neatly behind the rear set (that aluminum thing that holds the footpeg) if that's what you're trying to say, then either your rear set is bent or the saree guard is bent. No way they can touch each other they have a good amount of space. I hope you didn't drop your bike.Originally posted by Vysakh.M.S View PostThe 2015 model have an issue. The rear foot pegs will scrape on the saree guard. Does all the 2015 models have the issue? And the rear fender hits the tyre hugger when I hit potholes (along with pillion)
Secondly the rear suspension bottoming out. Two up, on extreme potholes, yes, the rear hugger will kiss the fender. Solution? Stiffen the suspension up a notch this shall reduce the rear end sag and provide reduced bottoming. That's one solution to the problem. Secondly, observe if there are any oil leaks in the rear suspension, leaky rear shocks are common and can induce extreme sagging and complete failure of the shock when you're least aware. The newer models come with the plastic protector so it's hard to see what's happening inside, let alone if there are observable leaks. But over time, you can eventually see the oil flowing/dripping out of the rear shockers. Keep an eye on that. For now, adjust the rear suspension setting a notch harder to solve the bottoming issue.
Guys, for all those khat khat noise, please re-adjust, and lube adequately. Both a loose and a tight chain can cause khat khat noise. Nothing to worry, unless too noticeable.Originally posted by hmunjal View PostHi guys m faving same khat khat issue in 2016 model since the purachase of the bike..

The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

I use the hazards lights chipset from Spiraltech. Those are fine and you need not cut any wires. U better not cut the stock wires of indicators bcz if the svc guys find it... You will lose ur electrical warranty.

Yes BroOriginally posted by jeshurun99 View PostBro,

I am not going to cut any wire... Well there will be an output from the flasher and I am planning on using the built-in flasher to power all four indicators..
all controlled by a switch. I will be trying to perform that mod tomorrow.. I also did some research on usage of diodes to restrict reverse current flow. So will be getting a pair of semiconductor diodes.. Fingers crossed

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Thank you for the input. Yes, I meant the aluminum thing that holds the footpeg. And when I asked the SVC, they said it's the problem with 2015 model. I have not dropped my bike.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View Post

And another issue is that after riding during daytime, the console will show a black color rectangular background when we go through the options in the console. That is when going through average speed, distance to empty etc. Is it common?VyshuVysakh
