I am interested in Iridium, my experience with it has been good.

I'm thinking to get it from bhiwandi outlet, at least that's what the site says.
Anybody been able to source the NGK's (regular or Iridium) here in India ?
If so, pl let me know the source/location or if you can ship it to me and I will pay for it.

Can some one provide information where I can buy accessories for Duke 200. Mine is 2014 model and based in Pune. Following are some of important accessories I am looking for

    1. Windsheild - Fz visor can be fitted with minor modification
    2. Raditor Grill - waste of money - if your bike doesn't have the extra plastic mud flap on the mudguard, get that fixed. Keeps the muck thrown by tire 100% away from radiator
    3. Tank and Bag - You mean tank bag ? Get the tank bag from www.viaterra.com- Their motorcycle luggage products are pretty good. I use the velox bags.
    4. Sliders - Am happy with the stock crash guards and the insurance cover.
    5. Extra light - Mount a extra light on the crash guard with a separate switch or switch to a phillips diamond vision or maybe a 15W h4 type LED in place of the stock bulb. This 15W led was available on ebay for 1400rs i think. google "bull leds ebay". i though am perfectly happy with the stock bulb. I only replaced the parking bulb with a led cos the stock one fused in less than a month of buying the bike ! the led has been running fine for 8 months now.
    6. Any thing else recommended. - Horns ? That's the only pathetic part on the Duke. I ordered a pair of hella yellow panther horns for Rs675 and would be fixing them on the bike shortly.
    My comments above in bold

not sure, but is Iridium really worth the premium? I heard that there's no difference. some say that its better but shorter life, blah blah,

what's up with Iridium vs the normal?

I just want the ngk's ..whatever is available. I'd stick to the normal ones if it were available.
Ir vs normal .. google it !
Of course apart from my itch to experiment, I don't think there will be any significant benefit on using an Ir plug.

In the past 1 week my bike shut down three times when i slowed down to take a turn.. was doing probably 15 kmph in second gear.
Twice in the morning at 5am and once in the evening at 5pm .. and this was within 1 km of starting the bike. I always let the bike idle for a good 1 minute before taking off... Never happened before, and mileage seems to have come down a notch..maybe a km or two. All this after 3rd service which involved a plug change. The stock plug ran for 10600km before being changed at the 3rd service and I never faced this issue.
Maybe I am thinking too much will observe for a few more days and see if this behavior repeats.

you haven't yet got that broken tank replaced ? i remember you shared a pic of the broken part... it should be done under warranty.
when my bike turns 1 year, I am going to flush and replace the coolant with MAK redicool (sold by bharat petroleum and used in cars too). A liter of this stuff costs less than 200rs.

Guys recently I took off on my duke 200? like literally a feet up in the air. Both wheels up in the air. I was like oh crap. But as soon as I landed I had a grin on my face. Now the question is can these WP's take so much downforce?. It was actually supposed to be a speed breaker but damn that thing was built like a ramp and didn't see it coming, totally not intentional.

The stock suspension can take quite a beating, managed to do quite a bit of off roading with them.

Thanks pizzaboi, your answer was very relieving. If you say that it can take a beating that means that can for sure. You clocked more miles on your duke in such a short time than many of us. [emoji2] [emoji106] [emoji106]

                        Hey guys,

Is it fine to have the saree guard and tyre hugger removed.
It is not legally binding to have it on unless you actually have a lady with a saree as pillion right?

I'm planning to have it removed..(I don't think any of the 200s have them after registration) so I just want to know the exact
law regarding it. Is it going to be an issue while making longish rides...crossing state borders and such?

In order to sell the bikes, manufacturers must have them here in India. No problems in removing them. I've removed them the day I got my bike. No problems.

                                Hello folks,

I got an SMS today, informing about a 'KTM FREE SERVICE CAMP' which is going to be held at the Aluva Showroom in Kerala.

I'd just like to know if anyone has been to any such camp before and if it's worth going to.
I'm still way off the due date and miles required to do my first periodic, but if it's a chance to get to know the bike a little more from the experts, I don't want to miss out.

                                Looking forward to your inputs.

                                Melvin

P.S: Anyone here who's taken their bike from the Aluva showroom?
