, You can consider bikes other than duke200, say a gixxer SF, you can easily ride with pleasure and comfort ( a lot than D200) for a longer distance easily at 70-80kmph speeds. Even better, you can take AS200 which is a bit close to D200 in performance, for the cost of buying a used product (if you don't hate for it's look
).
but i want hand guards for my duke and when i asked my dealer he told me that the actual ktm hand guards will cost me around 7000 and that they can replace my duke 200 handle bar with that of duke 390s and when asked if they both feel the same in terms of riding comfort and posture he tod me that they are the same and no worries and that it would be over in 2700Rs along with the hand guards so is it ok to replace the duke 200 handle bar with that of duke 390 for hand guards at low price????? did any one try this cause he told me a lot of duke 200 owners here in hyderabad did.. TIA
: what is the fuel consumption of the bike? I am expecting a machine to give me anything more than 27kmpl. I do not do sudden accelerations or braking. No race, no stunts. Gradual increase in speed, highways I keep 85-100 kmph and city depends on traffic.

yeah i think you guys are right, should probably go for a new bike. I tried the AS 200, and you bet! I didn't appreciate the looks too much (like just a personal choice). It isnt bad, but I have ridden the d200 and the nimble handling seems to be have been an addiction since then. I think i have probably become a duke freak, just realized after reading your reply
