If you guys want to iron out vibration completely ZMR handle bar weights (super heavy) can be installed with slight modification, its cheap too @ 90 rupees per bar end weight.

They increase the weight of the handle bar which reduces the effects of vibration
they become more stable cause of the increase in its weight

the heavier it is the lesser it's prone to vibrations

handle bar vibrations are similar to that of flapping effect, so if we add weight at the end we can counter the same, heavier the weight the lesser it vibrates.

there are brand that sell super heavy bar end weight close to 450 gms like HVMP bar end weights.

What kind of modification ? Are there any other bike's bar weights which are a direct fit ? Thanks

Duke 390 handle bar, ZMR handle bar weights and M6 X 80 mm allen screw are required.

A facing job at lathe has to be carried out to the end weights at their inner side such that we remove 12 mm of projecting metal (used as a plug that goes inside the clip on's in zmr) leaving 3mm.

The weights has to be cut not the handle bar, and there are a lot of lathe shops in padi, ambattur, guindy, mogappair. search in just dial to find a shop near by to your residency buddy.

I have recently noticed that my exhaust pipe has turned almost black in the front section at an odo reading of 3200km. Is that a problem and can I recover to its original color ? :'(

Sadly it wont be the same as original but you can try using steel wool to scrub the pipe. Then use a bit of metal polish to make it shiny.

You can try the Apache RTR's bar ends, they are a direct fit on the 200's handlebar. The RTR's bar ends are also quite heavy. It will cost you Rs.225/- per piece.

This generally seems to happen if you wash/pour water on the bend pipe when its hot. I've run almost 11k on my Duke, and the pipe has only turned purplish.. though i've seen a few dukes that have blackened bend pipe. I think maybe if you live in coastal areas this color change might occur quicker.
Try giving it a scrub with 'brasso' and a scotch brite cleaning pad or try a mix of lemon juice in vinegar and let's know if it shows any improvement.

Also try asking for a replacement under warranty (i have seen ktm describing the color change as normal in one of their service advices.. but their picture shows a purplish exhaust and not a black one)
