Re: KTM 200 Duke
What kind of modification ? Are there any other bike's bar weights which are a direct fit ? ThanksOriginally posted by Lingeshsaikumar View PostIf you guys want to iron out vibration completely ZMR handle bar weights (super heavy) can be installed with slight modification, its cheap too @ 90 rupees per bar end weight.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Duke 390 handle bar, ZMR handle bar weights and M6 X 80 mm allen screw are required.Originally posted by Black_Kamikaze View PostWhat kind of modification ? Are there any other bike's bar weights which are a direct fit ? Thanks
A facing job at lathe has to be carried out to the end weights at their inner side such that we remove 12 mm of projecting metal (used as a plug that goes inside the clip on's in zmr) leaving 3mm.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Sadly it wont be the same as original but you can try using steel wool to scrub the pipe. Then use a bit of metal polish to make it shiny.Originally posted by mrrafi4 View PostI have recently noticed that my exhaust pipe has turned almost black in the front section at an odo reading of 3200km. Is that a problem and can I recover to its original color ? :'(
You can try the Apache RTR's bar ends, they are a direct fit on the 200's handlebar. The RTR's bar ends are also quite heavy. It will cost you Rs.225/- per piece.Originally posted by Black_Kamikaze View PostWhat kind of modification ? Are there any other bike's bar weights which are a direct fit ? Re: KTM 200 Duke
This generally seems to happen if you wash/pour water on the bend pipe when its hot. I've run almost 11k on my Duke, and the pipe has only turned purplish.. though i've seen a few dukes that have blackened bend pipe. I think maybe if you live in coastal areas this color change might occur quicker.Originally posted by mrrafi4 View PostI have recently noticed that my exhaust pipe has turned almost black in the front section at an odo reading of 3200km. Try giving it a scrub with 'brasso' and a scotch brite cleaning pad or try a mix of lemon juice in vinegar
and let's know if it shows any improvement.
Also try asking for a replacement under warranty (i have seen ktm describing the color change as normal in one of their service advices.. but their picture shows a purplish exhaust and not a black one)
