    Hi,
    Would installing this hamper the battery

        Hello guys,

        I have done over 17k Kms on my bike and the tires need a change badly. Apart from being worn out the rear tire is full of puncture holes. A couple of days ago i had another puncture which i got fixed but somehow the air pressure keeps decreasing on a daily basis. I am having to fill air twice daily. The puncture guy says there is no puncture and only tire replacement will solve the problem. Can that actually be true? Since the tire is worn off to the limit of its tread wear indicator I understand i need to change my tires but why will it not hold air pressure for even 10 hrs? Also, while checking my tire for any cuts I found something which I am not sure if it is a cut or just a crack. I am sharing the pics here

        These cracks are there on almost every small side tread of the tire.
        Now that I have to change the tire I was considering trying the metz but looking at the condition of my rear tire ( its full of punctures) I think metz for rear is not apt for me instead the front (0 Punctures to date) can be replaced by metz. It should increase my front braking in the wets (reason for my fall on few times) and i would also get the feel of the tires and see how long they last. These are my thoughts as of now and if finances permit i shall go for that. Anybody who has put on metz or have tried them, i would like to hear any comment or feedback to my decision.
        Besides, does anyone have the cost to the metz front and rear and mrf front and rear just for comparisons sake because i tried asking the SVC and they have promised to get back to me regarding that.

          I have been trying to get my hands on the fender extender for some time now. How much did it cost you? And did you just install the extender or change the whole fender?

          I remember reading some where that yellow Halogen is generally better than white lights, but am not able to find the reference now.

          Anyway I would suggest you buy from here instead of naptol. 700 Rs cheaper.

            The extender costs Rs.340 you will get it at the SVC. but I had to get the holes drilled to the mudguard by myself..

                Me also done fender diy myself costed me 70 rs and it also saves radiator drove it in rain and no mud on radiator grill.

                  Three days back changed dukes rear tyre with mrf at 13400..costed me 3100...chandigarh..

                              Yesterday evening at a signal I switched off the engine by using the engine kill switch, and it didn't switch on after that . The display was blank. Then I moved my bike to side and turn the ignition on/off a few times but no response. My first thought was the battery got discharged, but the horn and the indicators were working fine. I tried to turn the handle to both sides and pulled a few cables to check if some wire got cut or not. Then I randomly pressed the engine kill switch on/off a few times and KABOOM, out of no where the display booted up and bike started. Please if any one had this problem earlier or what could be the reason?

                                Could be rain or waterwash playing spoilsport with the electricals. My duker friends had faced something similar.
