The dust boots don't provide 100% protection.. Saw a 390 that day with fork oil leak even with the dust boots..

Did that include removing the entire fork assembly and changing the entire fork oil? That's what the svc guys said here, though I am highly suspicious of that

Doga Those fork dust boots dont help much, 390 owners reported leaks. One of them even posted on the 390 ownership thread.

Hey guys wat mileage do u all get from ur duke 200 because however sanely i try to ride my bike i still dont ever get anything above 31kmpl. So wanted to know what should i do or by replacing which part can i expect a gain in mileage, I hav already changed my spark plug but it has been of no use

You've changed the rear tyre, maybe that has affected the mileage. Get your tyre pressure checked. Using a bit of injector cleaner in the fuel helps at times. I get 30-35kmpl with mixed riding.

Essentially the additives that are added in the fuel helps clean the injector and lubricate other parts of engine, effectively increasing the engine smoothness. The first time Injectors were used in a motorcycle, there were a lot of problem due to clogged injectors as different brand petrol left different types of residue. In order to clean the injectors, the svc were provided with additive solutions that when mixed with fuel helped clean the injectors.
You get additive fuels directly from outlets like Speed, XtraPremium, etc or you can add additives into normal fuel. These additives are generally available at the svc or at shops that stock engine oils.

wallpapers123 It's pretty much summed up by the previous post ..The Injector Cleaner brand that I use is STP. It costs about Rs.400 for 200ml. Other alternative is Iftex System G which is cheaper and available at Rs.150. Use it before filling a full tank (only 2 full tanks... more than that is not recommended).

I have been using one for sometime, system -G, available at BP outlets. There is somewhat noticeable improvement in smoothness but many times it's not noticeable

I had not just changed my rear tire, I had actually changed both my tires to MICHELIN PILOT STREET RADIAL but the overall experience was not very satisfying as the tires according to me were not very confidence inspiring and i felt that the ride quality had also bcom a bit hard n the rear tire according to me was just way to thin to be a 140 section tire.So i sold my tire after jus 800 kms of riding to a friend who owns a CBR250 n strangely he is super happy with the MICHELIN PILOT STREET RADIAL.

No, nothing of the sort. You can fuel up normal petrol after you have used up the additive laced fuel.

Mix 2ml/ltr of System G in the fuel. No need to drain the fuel.

No mate, just fill petrol..no need to drain and all. You can stop using it whenever you feel like.

If been skeptical about those tires for ha long time, I had almost bought that rear tire but then stopped because of budget issues. CBR250R guys mostly have pathetic ContiGos so surely they'll fell the difference with new ones. I'm sure most of you guys ridden a 390, you'll notice that the Metzelers are f'ing amazing! you can enter a corner at high speed and actually feel the tires sticking to the ground. Not that our REVZ-C is bad but Metzeler's are just top-notch. They're sold at a good price also at the SVC, but its too expensive for me.
