if you get a chance, do check out the viaterra raptor.. yes, its the office bag but it has quiet some capacity.. you can try to load it up as a front tank bag (not intended for but a try) since it has hooks and loops, you can hook them up to your frame and front handle bar and over it down back to frame.. for rear, you can use the claw or the saddle bags.. I use the raptor daily and it's amazing for office and short trips.. a day or two days trip can be covered with the raptor's capacity.. for more, I would suggest you go clean for the claw..

"Didn't ride her for the last two and a half months. Fired her up today and she came alive at the first crank
a keeper. I'm in love all over again. she's going to the service center today, just to come back stronger!!"
Why did you leave her without rides for two and a half months?
Good to hear about her firing right up on first crank...she really missed you...and the road!!!

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Where do you live? Even I am from pune. PM me if you wanna meet. I own a duke 390.Originally posted by katoom View PostThanks for the help guys. I wasn't very happy with the MRFs even when were relatively new, hence am leaning towards getting Michelins for both front and rear. I don't know if I can actually go to the SVC and get the rim removed, cos its pretty far from my place.
Does anyone have any idea of any good tyre dealers in Pune for this? I'd rather go to a shop which has done this before, than going to someone who has no experience with dukes.
Thanks again! What do you call a biker who does not wear a helmet? An organ donor.

Alternate Mudguard for Duke 200
1. Does anyone did any mod in the tyre hugger to avoid getting sprayed while riding in the rain?
2. Is there anyway to lower the angle of rear brake lever?Last edited by Shaktiv3; 10-29-2015, 09:38 PM.Well-trained reflexes are quicker than luck.

Brake from a distance. Always see & calculate things coming from the sides. These two things should hold you in gud stead. Don't take chances on indian roads.Originally posted by RoKit4 View PostHad a bad accident. [emoji14] broke my heel bone. I'm still recovering now to be honest.
But, the safest way to ride is with horns!

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Thanks. I am. Unfortunately, I had ruptured my Achilles Tendon. Which is a bummer. It takes more time to heal than the bone. Even more time to regain it's strength. So even though my bone has healed, I can't put pressure on my toes yet. But I'm getting there. It's all in the mind. As for the riding safe part, I'm going to be the safest rider on the road from now on. By the way, my baby just came back. Went for a ride, still feel the same way I felt about her when I first saw her [emoji7]Originally posted by thommel View PostOuch!!! Hope you're all better now.
Ride safe...

Re: Alternate Mudguard for Duke 200
1. I've seen a couple of bikes that had a second hugger screwed on to the stock hugger so as to cover the entire rear wheel(something like the r15v2), an eyesore to look at and i dont think it serves the purpose of avoiding back spray.Originally posted by Shaktiv3 View Post1. 2. No, you cant lower the brake lever (its possible only with the gear lever). You can only adjust the free play on the rear brake lever.

Both the gear lever and the rear brake pedal can be tweaked, The rear brake pedal can be adjusted via a small nut behind the piston which an lower or extend (slightly upwards) the brake lever. The only gripe is the adjustment is not as visible for the rear brake pedal as opposed to the gear level.
I will try to put up a picture.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

New front disc for duke 200
Hey, I want to ask if it's possible to retrofit the 300 mm front disc of the Duke 390 to my Duke 200?
Duke 200s are the only ones getting a 280mm front disc, and since the RC200 uses a 300mm front disc it should fit my Duke 200 too.
Is it a simple case of changing the discs or additional changes are required?
