No, you can simply get the bar ends on your current handle. I wanted to try

Check the basics first and get them done at the SVC then observe how it fares, if it still persists, then we can investigate even further.

Yes I have a service due this weekend but just out of curosity and assuming both forks are bent, what would be the fix and cost for this ?

              Thanks

you could try a juggad that resembles the r15 v2 hugger design.

I think mud comes from the side of the tyres because of it's profile

Well, I too had my doubts at first but the bike handled pretty well during rains and it was less muddy than usual

I wouldn't go for the hand guards with this kind of RVM set up. I feel that it wont blend properly. Purely personal opinion.

Guys i am nearing my first paid service. Clocked 16600kms.

How much is the paid service ?

Lasstime i went to svc for chain tightening , svc guy said to replace rear brake disc also.

What are the parts to be replaced around 17000 kms?

I m thinking of changing rear disc & chain sprocket set as per svc guy.

The forks are one of the costliest part of this motorcycle, I am not sure about the price for the fork work, but you can get the fork work done locally where they usually rectify fork tube bends. SVC would almost always use a new part, which would cost more than 3k per tube alone. The best thing you can do is remove the fork tube, take it locally and get the bend rectified again as you've mentioned, if the fork is bent.

                              Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                              The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                              THE END

                                Anyone from Hyderabad
Installed hand guards for duke 200.
Service centre quoted me 3300/- for the whole.
It includes handle bar of 390, hand guards, new grips, bar end weights.
Anyone who installed in Hyderabad please guide me.
                                Thank you
I think that price is about right for all the parts quoted above.. you can check the prices printed on the labels!
You can use apache's bar end weights on the stock 200 handlebar , though i cannot vouch for their functionality (neither for the 390 bar conversion)
iyou can try the apache bar ends + 390 hand-guard.. that way you wont need to replace the bar and grips , so you save some money.

where in hyderabad did you get those mirrors ? was it a direct fit or did you have to drill some holes?

Paid service labor is around 700rs. the rest is for the parts such as all 3 filters (air oil and fuel) and maybe spark plug (the plug imo is good for 10k km, so changing it every other service is fine)
I have done similar mileage, and have only had the filters and plug replaced.. no other parts thus far.

why did they recommend replacing rear disc ? any damage such as warping, bent, scratched up or worn beyond spec due to normal use (very unlikely)? or was it the brake pads?
there is no set interval for replacing these parts including the chain set (the svc might push for it to make money), you need to inspect and replace it if necessary.
the chain-sprocket on my bike seems like it will last at least till 25k km.. its at 16800 now. and i am still running on the stock brake pads which should last at least a couple of 1000km (though the front disc was replaced at around 2000km under warranty)
