Thank you for the suggestion i will checkout indimotard page and their offerrings.
I can also get leovince cobra slipon for good price, however then i would need to get stainless steel bendpipe that i dont know where i can buy.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Finely I found a duke 200 2015 model and purchasing it for 80000/- but the bike is fitted with CEAT ZOOM 140 section rear tyre and front tyre is stock. the previous owner change the tyre after 15000kms. and now the ode is 17000km.
do I need to change the rear tyre to stock setting (150 section) immediately?Last edited by PDEBANSHI; 02-24-2017, 02:59 PM.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
You do not need to change to 150 size immediately.. 140 runs just fine on the 200.Originally posted by PDEBANSHI View PostFinely I found a duke 200 2015 model and purchasing it for 80000/- but the bike is fitted with CEAT ZOOM 140 section rear tyre and front tyre is stock. the previous owner change the tyre after 15000kms. and now the ode is 17000km.

But it's the tire itself, the ceat 140 is a hard compound (trust me when i say this) and even after another 8k km the tire will still show very little signs of wear. And it's not very inspiring in the wet. Make sure you keep recommended tire pressures.
You could use this tire for a while and then decide if you want to change it based on what you feel. In the 140, you have the michelin radial (costs close to 6k) , otherwise the stock 150 mrf revz c1 for less than 4k.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Hi bro,Originally posted by vikundefined View PostHi guys, i am looking to get a exhaust for my duke 200. I know exhaust won't make much difference in terms of power, but i just to make the sound of the bike more sportier. I have my eyes on the IXIL hyerlow. I want the exhaust to be not too loud. Please suggest if i can get any other exhaust in this price range.
I'm using Ixil hyperlow with baffles since the past 10 months. All I would say is that these Ixil's are not so loud... And nor does this draw any attention from the cops when you are beside them (Atleast not in Bangalore) provided u have the baffles on. I felt with the baffles hyperlow is louder than the stock exhaust but has a bassy tone. Without baffles... It is way louder and bassy. So it's up-to you.
I would recommend you to hear the different exhaust's in person before deciding.. As the YouTube video's are misleading in terms of audio quality.
From what I heard in person these are my suggestions in order of my preference:
1) Akra's are good to hear.. But way way expensive.
2) Ixil hyperlow. You can get it for Rs 17k also. And, sound pretty good for the price range for me atleast
3) Zard exhaust.
4) Ixil X55.
5) Leo Vince SBK II.
6) GPR exhaust.
7) Mivv Ghibli.
8) Leo Vince Cobra... I felt this let's too much sound. Patrrrrr. Cop magnet.
My humble suggestion.... Don't go for any mods like the holes on stock exhaust. You will ruin the exhaust and can never ever go back to stock if you decide later.Last edited by jeshurun99; 02-25-2017, 02:26 AM.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Greetings XBhpians and fellow Dukers,
I just made a booking for the 2017 Duke 200 at GEMS Bajaj / KTM Chinchwad yesterday. I got a PDI call today, but on reaching the location they said I could choose my bike and do a preliminary PDI (I had booked White) and the official showroom launch would be done within a week, along with the rest of the range.
Booking amt. is a minimum of Rs 20,000.
On Road Price is Rs. 161,440, inclusive of Zero Dep Insurance which is Rs. 4680.
Also new buyers please note, they're asking for a helmet invoice or you unnecessarily get charged Rs 800 (Some stupid RTO rule they claim)
Very happy to be a part of Club Orange. Looking forward to many miles and smiles on the beast.
Ride hard, ride safe.
CheersEat, Sleep, Ride, Repeat.
Gear ON. Engine ON. Big grin under helmet... GAME ON !!!!

It's not a stupid rule, in fact, it's required as most people have the moolah to purchase a bike, but not a helmet. The reason RTO requires a helmet invoice is to make sure the rider rides with the helmet on, of course it's a small step for a change. Rest assured, keep us posted with some good quality of your MY 2017 Duke 200
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
I had also booked 2017 ktm duke 200 from ktm NASHIK
I booked black and white colour
I have some questions about that bike
1) Is good for long tours and also for city riding?
2)Is the ESSAR fuel is comfortable for bike?(only that fuel pump is closer to my house)
3)Which oil will be suitable for it?

Re: KTM 200 Duke
It's definitely feels very compact and swift for city (traffic) riding.Originally posted by PatelBhavesh View PostI had also booked 2017 ktm duke 200 from ktm NASHIK

Then again i speak with experience with my old duke 200 and 390.
Long tours have not been very un-comfortable as such.
About the fuel, I can't comment.
About the engine oil, don't bother about it as the service centers will do the needfull for the first 8500.
Ride Safe Ride Hard.
