From what I know and have seen, a stock d200 will not cross 137~138 no matter how hard you rev or how high you shift up.. its cuts you off at 137~138.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Hi guys, from from past 1 week my duke's rear Michelin tyre is losing air. I have checked that there's no puncture and also the rim is not bend. Have also changed the valve just to be sure. Tyre is still losing air gradually within 2 days. What can be the issue guys, can anybody help. I am clueless, thanks.

I totally agree with you, on the stock bike you can never cross 138.No replacement for an engine Displacement

I faced the same issue on my mrf tyres, no puncture or leak, but mostly happens when i fill nitrogen.Originally posted by vikundefined View PostHi guys, from from past 1 week my duke's rear Michelin tyre is losing air. Re: KTM 200 Duke
either you haven't been able to spot the puncture or it is leaking from around the tire lip/bead area. try checking it again using some soapy water and preferable spray it on using something like a empty colin bottle one section at a time and observe.Originally posted by vikundefined View PostHi guys, from from past 1 week my duke's rear Michelin tyre is losing air. also clean the rim and take a close look around the edge of the rim for any bends.
the last thing that you could do is to have the tire unmounted and check the rim and tire for any damage around the bead seating area.
----consecutive posts auto-merged-----
might.. just inspect the bead area thoroughly. and after mounting it, inflate it to 42 psi and keep it at that for a few seconds, and then drop it to 30.Originally posted by vikundefined View PostWould refitting the tyre help in any way?
nitrogen or air is not going give one drastic drop in tire pressures!

Re: KTM 200 Duke
My bike is being stubborn, it doesn't open in single attempt. What do you think might be the reason that it is being jammed. It takes 5-7 attempts to unlock my bike.BTW it's only been 4 months that I bought the bike and for extra info it's been raining(not heavy) for the past 4days. Does the rain have any participation in the problem.

Ur chainkey set needs to be lubed ,if not , removed and cleaned, I faced a similar problem on my CBR , where side lock stopped working, after cleaning it was fine.Originally posted by naughtynaseer View PostMy bike is being stubborn, it doesn't open in single attempt. Re: KTM 200 Duke
Pour 3-4 drops of multipurpose lube oil to key hole. coconut oil also do the job.Originally posted by naughtynaseer View PostMy bike is being stubborn, it doesn't open in single attempt.
