One small 'advice'.. it always safer to first remove the negative terminal of a battery. If you remove the positive first, there is chance your tool might come in contact with the frame and result in sparks and short circuit (since the frame is grounded i.e. batt -ve is connected to frame)

I have a pair of hella's (yellow ones, sharpone) lying around since 6 months that i picked up from amazon for 600 bucks on a sale, that I will probably be installing later on.. just need to get hold of them spade connectors and a 4 pin relay (most of my local spare shops and even a few car accessories shops i asked had only the 3 pin one from roots, which isn't very robust )

And I am also trying to get hold of a 15t front sprocket from JT sprockets, have asked my friend if he can pick them up from London.
Thanks for the useful inputs buddy

Sorry my bad forgot to mention that I'll edit it asap

    Hella Horn Relay Wiring Harness 4RA 965 400-007 https://www.amazon.in/dp/B01EOPKA4M/..._KAksxbYF6QQPF

There you go hella 4 pin relay from amazon.

Same here I also couldn't find those connectors and relays and good quality wires anywhere with local dealers, then it clicked me. Actually commercial vehicle owners and auto drivers mod like crazy with the red blue flashy lights air horns and what not, for them sky is the limit.so why not go to a commercial vehicle spare dealer. And boy did that work. I got everything from battery clamps, horns to zip ties at one single shop.

I just kept Asking him. "do you have this horn ?" " do you have that connector"?

And he kept saying yes and yes and yes.

Search for a place that has parts for tata ace and three wheelers you will surely find it there.

Oh boy good choice on sprockets. They will last you a lifetime.

yep, trying to find a shop locally that caters to these auto's
and that relay on amazon is 292 bucks with shipping.. am better of getting these locally.
as for wires, in the past i have used the wires that are used in home electrical wiring.. they are very good quality and sufficient gauge (14 or 16awg iirc) for wiring horns. much better than some of the wires that are sold in auto spares shops.

True I don't think there is any difference between automotive wires and home electrical wires. Plus you can get a good gauge home electrical wire that is better shielded for a cheaper price per meter.

Will you leave your pair of hellas yellow or will you paint them black?

Hey friends, I want to change my stock horn.
It kind of feels like auto horn.
Did anyone change the horn without any warranty issues. Please suggest

as long as you don't cut any wires, and wire the horns properly with a relay there wont be any warranty issues.
the ktm svc (ktm banjara hills) told me that they would install the pulsar 220 dual horns for me and wont cause any warranty issues. when i asked if they would install an aftermarket horn that i bought, they told me to do it myself but without cutting any wires and there wont be any warranty issues.
the p220 dual horns are pretty good compared to stock.. you could try to request the banjara svc to do it for you (get it done by the senior mechanic srikanth).they usually get the horn from their bajaj outlet in kondapur and do it, but it would take time since these guys are bad at keeping stock or getting parts. Or you could yourself get the oem p220 horns/wires from a local spares shop and they will do it.

i don't use the horn much around town, plus these aren't as loud as the red ones. as long as one uses a bit of common sense and doesn't blow his horn too much , it should be ok.
these horns help tremendously on the highway to catch the attention of these heavy vehicles and slow moving vehicles that for some reason keep to the right lane rather than left.

Very true and I completely agree. I don't think Trucks can hear the stock horn on highways plus the stock horn fails to catch the attention of pedestrians. But cops here just look for aftermarket parts on the bikes and stop them. The other day when I was pulled over for horns (which I didn't use) still got fined and they also stopped a guy on royal enfield just because he had a different handlebar, this is just stupid

Heya guyz... does swapping of alloys void the warranty?

Hi guys, got myself a white Duke 200 today. [emoji2] Rode around 30 kms at a speed around 55-65 range. Feeling little vibrations on the footpegs. And finding neutral is a bit uncomfortable for me. Rest is awesome.

Guys..anyone have any ideas about how to lighten the clutch?
I recently went on a ride which had a lot of hairpin bends.by the time we were returning it was literally torture to operate the clutch due to sharp pain in my wrists.

I was riding p135 before i got duke, and vibes hit me too but once u ride it for few days u will certainly get used to these vibes. You will feel that they are an integral part of ur riding. Duke has it share of vibes which will stay and you will feel happy feeling them once you move out of ride-in period.

PS: after riding duke for a few weeks i had to sit on my p135. And if u r a duke rider you will feel even a p135 is the most refined engine in the world. But none can replace the fun of riding a Duke.

do yourself a favor and use this to help tone/strengthen your wrists and fingers Buy Nivia Foam Hand Grip, Pack of 2 (Blue) Online at Low Prices in India - Amazon.in

Also get a pair of dumbbells and do some wrist curls!

I wouldn't advice you mess with the clutch setup.

I've ridden over quiet a few hair pins over 3 days and never had any sore wrists (Ooty, Valparai, and Munnar)

Are the tank pads appearing in searches from ebay and Amazon good? Or where could I get good quality tank pads for D200?
