Is this normal or my brake is loose and need to be tightened? If so can i do i by myslelf and if yes how?
Absolutely normal. The front is is fixed caliper, meaning, it has four pistons which work in tandem, almost all rear calipers will have some slack in them laterally, since they are usually single piston or twin piston, so depending on the setup, either the single or twin piston does the push/pull function of the pads. Long story short, as long as the bolts are tightened, you absolutely need not worry, they are absolutely normal on most bikes out there.

I gave my duke 200 for 3rd service today here in Chennai service manager is saying there is no spark plug adapter in my bike and he doesn't understand how I have been using it these many days. My duke stars and runs fine.
Is this even possible? Can the spark plug adapter fall off so easily ?
How much will it cost ?

WHAT !!? What do you mean by 'adapter' ? Is it the plug cap ? the long plastic thingy ?

it is possible to ride without the plug cap by fixing the wire directly on the plug, but it wouldn't hold up very long unless you stick or tape it.. my experience on other bikes like the yamaha rx100.
now coming to the ktm, the spark plug is located in a deep cavity (unlike ones on say a pulsar, splendor etc..) and i wonder how someone would be able to wire the plug without the plug cap.. a miracle maybe

If its the plug cap, it must be pretty cheap.. i reckon under 100rs. tell them to replace it under warranty, if a part is missing its probably that they forgot to put it back at the previous service (unless you've been tinkering with the bike or someone stole it.. very unlikely cases).

Hii guys recently im experiencing a Krr Krr sound from left side of bike. The sound is only coming at 4000 rpm range after that its gone and i also tightend and lubed the chain but this Krr sound is not going. Is there any way to fix this problem???
The bike is 1 month old. And i think its coming from the front sprocket...

let me know if you are able to fix it, i've been living with this for 1.5 years . here are my symptoms:
                1. appears at around 4000rpm (sometimes varies, when the mechanic goes around tightening the bolts)
                2. more noticeable when you are decelerating and it goes 'krrrr krrrrr'
                3. disappears when the fuel in tank is around 3/4th to full capacity.

It's mostly from the tank/tank cover, because i once remember riding without the tank cover and din't notice the sound. at my prev service the mechanic did something (unfortunately i had gone to take a pee and left the bike for a couple of minutes) and now that sound is reduced by 50% and doesn't happen as often. I've made a note of this in every service on the job card.. probably at next service and towards end of warranty i will push them to replace tank cover or fix it permanently !

I had them remove the radiator plastics, mudguard, belly pan but still the noise was present.

Just check which two plastic part makes that sound and paste a foam between both so it will stop rattling I think it's that tank plastic parts. :what:

The sound that you notice is the chain running against the swingarm.
There is a rubber Bush kind of thing that's located at the end of the chain cover towards the engine.
This rubber over time wears out and a sound comes when the chain hits the swingarm.
Note : this sound is always more while deaccelerating as the tension in the chain is slightly reduced.

Replace the rubber Bush thing and you guys will be good.

this isn't related to the chain or chain slider. this 'krrr krrr' sound has been present on my bike since the day the bike was bought (i noticed it a couple of weeks later since the bike came with a full tank fuel). like i said, the sound is almost gone with a full tank of fuel, and on the recent service a couple of weeks ago the mech did something (probably tighten something) and it has almost vanished.. will need to check with him as to what he did

what do you mean by gearing issues? difficulty slotting in to a gear ? gear lever getting stuck between gears?

the problem is finding which part!
we even tightened the ecu mounting on the tank.
i will do a through check at the next service.. its irritating to remove everything and do a test drive after every bit is removed and put back
