Was the 3500+tax the labor charge ?
Over and above the cost of spares, did they charge any labor ?
If they charged you for parts and labor and then over and above these two components added the 'accident service charge'.. then you my friend need to get more clarification from them.. it's sounds fishy to me since there is no such charge that i've ever heard of.
Keep copies of the bill and shoot an email to bajaj customer care demanding an explanation if you don't get proper response from the svc.

Over the cost of spares i.e. 17,000 they charged 3500 (as accident service charge) + 525 (as service tax). I can't find any labour charge written on the bill.

One more thing, what is this t-stem?

Well then, that 3500 was probably the labor charges, and the price seems ok for a ktm svc.
t-stem or "bottom triple clamp cpl" (official part name) is this part- (one that holds the forks and handle bar mountings, there is also top triple clamp but without the 'stem' i.e. the rod)

Touche black really I chose my bike from my heart.

Many said don't go for KTM many dead buying KTM I said why can't I be the one who survives.

Really still now I love my bike. Thanks black u made me remember the fight between me and my family and friends. :thumbup:

There is a small hole in Tyre rim n its leaking air.. I m in ladakh n need options for repair. Attaching a photo.. Need help

Do you have puncture repair kit if yes then try plugging that goo material in it and heat it a bit. This is just a suggestion bro. Try it once

Try to find Mseal and apply it, it takes a lot of time to dry up but its very strong

Made the first mod to my bike during the first service (if only this can be called as a mod

). Replaced the stock horn with a pair of Roost. The stock horn sounded like a scooter, and after coming from a pulsar blowing this horn was kind of awkward for me. So asked the SVC guy and replaced the single horn with a pair of Roost after hearing it in person.
Now my wife says my bike sounds like a car!!

The stock horn does not justify the bike.

The horns are loud enough for the person to hear inside a car or bus with windows closed.. didnt felt changing it... but m thinking of changing tge grips... gloves rather dont stick to the stock grips

I installed a brand named HELLA... with a switch to switch between stock and installed horn...
