Though I have a question, did anyone else face the problem of stock stickers/decals wearing off. The stock stickers on the tank has started to wear off from one end on my duke. Has anyone else faced the same problem?

Did anyone try anything to fix this issue?

No such issues faced by me for the past 2 years of my D200, you can meet the svc guy he will glue it or get you a new sticker.
No replacement for an engine Displacement

Anyways im planning to meet the svc guy but i just want to know that if it can be glued by any 'do-it yourself' method?
My exams are starting from Monday, so a DIY would just be great for now.
Using some adhesive might help stick it down but it might not look as good as new.
New tank stickers I think cost around 700rs.
And usually the stickers don't fade or peel off by themselves.. my experience of 1.6 years with the bike.

. you can broadly classify leaks as ....................... the only option would be replacing them with a new fork seal.
        Thank you S1d

1.) Tank pad has to be installed (is it worth to install and any suggestion on which one to buy KTM pad costs 2.5K )
2.) Horn i am planning to put a 66 watt horn double horn ( is it good and any issues will raise because of this?)
3.) And in service i will say no to chain cleaning and lub it costs 250rs instead i bought one motul lubricant so i can do myself.
4.) Any how engine oil will be changed in first service, any suggestions on specific brand or quality engine oil's?

I don't think it is easy to buy one here in India.
The ktm svc that I go to has this tool, and when i asked them if it was either their 'own' addition to the tools or if ktm provided it, they told me that it was provided by ktm themselves. So go ahead and check with your svc, they might have it but they most probably won't sell it.
There is another juggad to make something that does a similar job using camera film or thin plastic..

I have replaced my fork seals multiple times.
But then I looked for an alternate for the repeating fault.
                I found this :::

And I make one for myself. Been using it for roughly 2 months and it works like a charm.
I remove and clean them once a week.
Am guessing I have already save a couple thousand bucks coz of this..
                Worth a try.

I think all us should have this tool. Fork dust caps are probably the most ignored part on a motorcycle.

1)No use buying that tank pad. You can get same quality. And same looking ones in amazon.

                    2) regarding horns. If you install horns make sure that you don't cut any factory wirings. If you cut oem wirings then getting a warranty will be a problem

                    3) true that 250 bucks are total waste of.. money

                    4) I think you should stick to the oem motul engine oil. They are actually pretty good.

I hope my points are helpful to you.

especially on a usd fork.. gravity works against us. a leak will result in lots of oil loss and beyond a point the bike will feel like a boat.
first couple of days the leak was minor and then when i parked it in office..a lot of oil leaked out and i had to ride back gingerly and got it fixed with new seals.
i've made it a point to get that fork seals/dust caps cleaned using their tool at every service, and apply just a couple of drops of oil on the seal/boot and put it back.

Do i have to show it to svc?

as you pile on a couple more 1000km, the exhaust note will change. its normal.

                            Thanks plexus,

Sure going for tank pad from amazon as you have instructed.

I am thinking of connecting wires from the terminals they gave for single horn i am just going to connect a opposite connector to the coupler and splitting it into two, so it will not void warranty.

Cheers i bought a chain lubricant and started cleaning myself at first & will clean at every 500 Kms (as instructed by my friend working as a manager on KTM dealer ).

I am sticking to OEM grade only but only i am changing the brand, stock is some other brand i am not sure , I am going for motul but same grade oil as recommended by OEM's.

Thanks mate and sure will post some photos once everything is done

HOW TO INSTALL WINDTONE HORNS ON KTM DUKE 200

                              things you will need

a pair of windtone horns obviously.
i went for roots windtone horns since i couldnt find bosch H3F but these are loud approx 115 db at 3 meters away

(amazon link ) Roots Windtone Classic Horn Pair (12V): Amazon.in: Car & Motorbike

a dozen contact clips for wires ( the more you have the better )

4 battery connector clips (again the more you have the better )

10 meters of 20 gauge wire ( the more you have the better wires are always useful )

10 meters of heat sleeve to prevent the wire from getting damaged by engine heat

4 pin 30A relay which will have contact points numbered like 87 85 30 86 ( preferably minda roots or bosch )

A Pack of zip ties (preferably black color)

and a rectangle fuse housing and a 10Amp fuse dont get those old school tube ones they are built shoddy

dont bother about extra mounting clamps because the horns come with them and there are no other places where you can mount these on the bike

trust me i have tried all the possible places ( except the radiator mounting bolts , im too scared to fiddle with that )

                              now lets get started

the easy part , i.e remove the backseat , remove the rider seat secured by bolts and disconnect the positive wire from the battery and dummy it using insulation tape.

this is the schematic we should follow

                              1) remove the negative terminal from the battery

                              2) cut a piece of 7 inch long wire strip them on both sides and crimp one end to the round contact clips and connect the other end to the fuse box,

it should look something like this

3 ) now mount the horns using the stock leg gaurd allen bolts mount the horns on top facing front like so

                              4) now cut and crimp the wires according to the needed length and make connections according to the diagram

after all that it will look something like this, apologies for my shoddy workmanship

                              4) make sure you insulate all the exposed wires and add the layer of heat sleeve throughout your wiring before connecting everything together before adding the fuse to the box and honking

and remember the legal limit for horns in india is 85db and these horns have a sound output of around 105 db
so make sure you have a toggle switch to switch between stock horn and these horns.

to add toggle switch the ground of the stock horn must be taken from the mounting point of the horn and the wire from no 87 relay goes to the center wire clamp on the toggle switch and from there you can connect the wire to the positive of the horns ( assuming that you have a three prong toggle switch)
and hide that toggle switch where cops cant find it.

                              happy honking,

                                Nice one man!
One small 'advice'.. it always safer to first remove the negative terminal of a battery. If you remove the positive first, there is chance your tool might come in contact with the frame and result in sparks and short circuit (since the frame is grounded i.e. batt -ve is connected to frame)

I have a pair of hella's (yellow ones, sharpone) lying around since 6 months that i picked up from amazon for 600 bucks on a sale, that I will probably be installing later on.. just need to get hold of them spade connectors and a 4 pin relay (most of my local spare shops and even a few car accessories shops i asked had only the 3 pin one from roots, which isn't very robust )

And I am also trying to get hold of a 15t front sprocket from JT sprockets, have asked my friend if he can pick them up from London.
