Check your T stem nut for slack. A lightly loose or tighter T stem means, T stem movement is restricted. Check your T stem for proper slack, hardly takes 2 mins for adjustment. Secondly, check your front tire, and how well the treads are. A cupped tire or one sided wear pattern would induce steering wobble. Keep your observations posted.

then check the front wheel bearings, the tire for uneven wear/damage and finally the rim itself for truness.

      >Wheel Bearing:- Last time I told Service centre guys to check the wheel bearing and they told nothing wrong.
      >Tire : both the front and back tires are new (<2000km), no wear/damage.
      >Rim : there are no visible bend or crack in rim also, I did wheel balancing during last tire replacement.

I feel like handle play is bit loose, I will try tightening the steering stem and see.
Regarding the fork adjustment, do I need to loosen all 3 bolt in the handle ?

Also can some one please suggest me the recommended tire pressure for duke 200? I ride solo most of the time and weight (74kg),
      current setting : front - 28 rear- 32

you need to loosen the pinch bolts that hold the the fork, not the handle bar. that's the allen key bolts that hold the fork in the triple clamps
the tire pressure you are running is fine, maybe 1~2 psi lower but not higher than what you are already running.

I bought my duke 200 5 months back and have done almost 4k kms . I have been facing a problem with my gear lever sometimes gets stuck when i downshift and then i again have to put in some more effort to bring it back to normal position.I have already taken to svc for this .It seems fine for a couple of days after that the issue again comes. Anybody knows what could be the reason

First off, check the linkages if they're returning properly, the foot gear shifter linkages and tie rod, which is adjustable and see if it helps. If it doesn't, get your gear shift lever assembly and the spring checked. This is the gear rod that goes inside the engine that your foot shifter is bolted to. This would require removing the clutch side of the engine. A faulty shaft/spring mechanism can in fact cause sticky shifts, get it replaced. Keep your observations posted.

              Hi Friends,

Just wanted to check what is the mileage that you all get for duke 200.I have been owning my duke for 11 months now and no matter how i drive (sane or insane) i always get around ~35km/litre.I was just watching some youtube videos and i am able to see some of them getting 39 or 43 kmpl even in city riding conditions. Is this even possible? because i am seriously getting freaked out on how they are getting so much kms on 1 litre petrol..[emoji22].

You will never enjoy the bike if your overly fuel conscious, its meant to be ridden a bit hard the bike, have fun, ride sane at the same time.

35/kmpl is a indeed a decent mileage. Most 200 cc bikes give a mileage of 35 to 40 max, with that in mind it's not at a bad average at all. 39 can be squeezed during highway runs when ridden with a relaxed wrist. Wring the neck, and you can expect a mileage of 25 to 35 kmpl. I'd suggest not to place too much emphasis on the instrument console for real time mileage, it can sometimes throw erroneous numbers. The numbers you're getting is the right and realistic mileage figure.

                  Cheers!

35kmpl is normal FE that most get.. anything more requires riding it sanely with less traffic. remember shorter rides (say less than 5km) around town will sip more fuel than longer ones. and also if you are looking at the console figures, then you'd have to ride the bike for sometime (say around 20 minutes) to get a fairly accurate reading.
On the highway if you keep it under 90kmph, you can easily get 45kmpl.

these FE figures are console indicated numbers and real time would be around 5% lesser. the best way imo to check fe is full tank to full tank method.

so just relax and enjoy the bike, it wasn't made for people to boast about their fe

Thank you s1d , I only ride it 2.5kms at one stretch to office (only on highway) at weekdays and occasional 20 to 30 kms in weekends for small rides.Maybe thats why I always get 35kmpl..i once had done a 120km stretch at around 70-80kmph and got 39kmpl.All my fe are by full tank to tank method and oneday i will really head out to highways to check my fe there.

I have a situation here. Last night after starting my bike I noticed this red light turns on once I out bike in gear. Tried searching online but could not find much details. Wondering what this would be about. Can anyone help understand what this indicates?

jokes apart, looks like your console is all fogged up with water inside. maybe that is causing some issues in the circuitry.
the middle one i guess is the indicator for the immobilizer. the symbol you see is a key.

get your bike to the svc or local mechanic who has compressed air and blow it around the switch gear, ignition key area, fuses and any part of wiring/connectors possible, especially those under the rear seat.

i've had the indicator light on the console light up after a wash even without operating the indicator switch, turns out it was moisture in left side switch gear causing it. a good blast of compressed air gets rid of it.

and btw, are you using one of them hazard light modules that plug in to the socket under the seat ? check that socket also and clean it out, and make sure the jumper wire is in place.

found this: Alarm/immobilizer light weirdness - KTM Duke 390 Forum
