Yes!! They dont care. But I wont recommended it for you now as you have so many problems in your bike. If situations comes like they are gonna replace your engine or other critical parts, your engine may go through some serious R&D where there are chances that they may find. Else in svc there is no way they can find even if you use different grade. They just drain it and throw away. So hold your horses until your bike is fixed

My service center did not complain.
It was the first time I gave it for servicing after changing oil though.
Maybe I just got lucky

Hello friends . My friend is going to buy CBR 15OR in few days. He has till now driven only Pulsar 150 and is completely dependent on me regarding run in and other stuff related to it. So Pls can you explain hw to do run in ? AND at what speed &rpm's gear should be changed?

Hye, you shouldnt use wax on matte plastic parts, it sometimes leaves a white residue. You can use standard car dashboard polish to keep the plastic parts looking new!

Forget speed. Upshift at 6-7k RPMs. BUt vary the RPMs from 3-10k in a while as well. As Honda (in the manual) says - Ride as you want, just don't be too aggressive on anything!

Arre I know that, I have ordered Collinite 845. I want to know what brand of wax/polish or whatever you use on matte parts. The BRAND, I know tht carnauba wax leaves residue on matte parts. If I didn't know tht I shouldn't use Collinite on matte parts, I would have simply written what wax. This is actually my third post asking for brand names of things you use, in the first one I mentioned tht I have ordered Collinite for tank n fiber parts. You are the only one who has responded:/

1 Ensure the chain is lubed well
2 "No visible scratches on the fairings, esp when it comes to the bottom part of the fairings"
3 Mirrors aren't very tight but bolted tight
4 Check for instrumentation panel & surrounding for scratches
5 Check if the instrumentation is working as per the buttons
6 Check fuel, they give 1-1.5 liter, put at least 2-3 liters asap
7 Do look for abnormal gaps in the fairings
8 Check the engine undercowl's front beak; some display/test bikes have had it split open
9 Ask for topped up coolant
10 Ensure vehicle can be locked properly
11 Ensure all the light switches & brake lights are working. Check atleast 2-3 times
12 Check for rusts anywhere on the metal parts (Frame, forks, brake pedal)
13 Check for first aid kit
14 Check for tool kit and that it is complete
15 Ensure that the alloy wheels are balanced (there should be weights on the alloy wheels) or ask those guys
16 Saree guard is available as standard with the bike while the number plates are not. But the plate holders are available with the bike
17 Invoice copy
18 Insurance copy
19 Pollution under control sticker
20 Ensure that RC book & tax token will be delivered in specific number of days

I didn't know this before, so I didn't even ask them at the time of buying.
I didn't have the saree guard but had the number plates by default. Anyway I don't want the saree guard, but maybe they removed it to sell as a spare part.

Oh yes, check the mileage on odo, but not 4. Less than than thirty will do.

Cost- Rs 1127/- (full synthetic oil + teflon included).

Problems resolved- Accelerator+clutch freeplay, chain slack adjustment
