^^ The bike I selected is from March 2013 lot and still has Kenda! Dunlop is any day better then Kenda. Using them for past 25K kms on my C115. Michelin are good but soft compound and hence will last you about 20-25k only. But the grip is very good even at 3 digit speeds.Better late by 30 minutes than early by 30 years.

Brought home my brilliant blue 125ST this morning. Like all other vehicles, this too was delivered on 21 March. Bike was delivered with a liter of petrol. Fuel gauge was at empty. Refueled 4 ltrs and the gauge is at exact half way mark. Tyre pressure in rear tyre was 56! Got that corrected too. Will post further details as we go along
Better late by 30 minutes than early by 30 years.

Wobbling Issue With Discover 125st
Hi All,
Recently I changed my bike tryres to Michelin 90/90 front and Ceat Vertigo 100/17/90 rear, since then i see that bike wobbles on the highways and otherwise, i have checked packing of tyres (its fine), i have checked air pressure (its fine).
however still issue persist, could some one please help to understand if any other check is required since my second service is due, i can get changes done accordingly.
Morever, if rim can fit in above tryes, then ideally i dont see any wobbling issue should arise, shoud it?

This could be due to 2 reasons - Misaligned rear tyre or badly fitted front tyre. I am not sure if 90/90 is a direct fit on the front. Rear size looks fine to me. Place your bike on center stand and rotate wheels to see if you can visibly see any wobble.
Wobbling can also be due to missing/broken bearings in handlebar T joint. Is it more pronounced with a pillion?Better late by 30 minutes than early by 30 years.

i have checked with two to three tyre personnel and they had confirmed no issues with tyre fitting and allignment
i will have handle checked, thanks for your valuable inputs...

Can you guys check the level of disc brake fluid and let me know. When I took delivery, it seemed that the fluid reservoir was empty, but they insisted that there is enough oil. My neighborhood mechanic also agrees and he said that it is a clear oil, hence I am feeling it's empty.
Also the fuel knob seems to be extremely tight.
BTW, I wanted to fix a tank pad and found that the 135LS tank pad is a direct fit and costs just Rs. 80.Last edited by abdriver2000; 03-26-2013, 05:27 PM.Better late by 30 minutes than early by 30 years.

Hello friends My bike is 45 days old and has done 1050 on my odo and cmpleted my first sevice .I am facing low fuel efficiency i hve tested mileage 2 to 3 times 1st was 58 next 54 and it drastically fall down to 44 KMPL. Actually fuel economy depends on riding quality and conditions may be it is a minor problem as of now but my main issue is my bike engine is jst stopping as if the petrol is empty or as if it cme to reserve but it is not the case and after a few kicks ie after 1-2 minutes it is gets started again. I am thinking that i have this problem because of the petrol quality i hve used or there may be any underling problem which may be causing this.It usually stops 2-3 times a week and when i got the fuel economy of 44KMPL it has been haulted like this for 4 times in 2 days and engine also getting heated up very quickly......any suggestions friends........ :-)Last edited by Satya Teja; 04-02-2013, 02:26 PM.

After service, are you still following the speed limits mentioned in the manual? Are you fuelling at the same pump everytime?Originally posted by Satya Teja View PostHello friends My bike is 45 days old and has done 1050 on my odo and cmpleted my first sevice .I am facing low fuel efficiency i hve tested mileage 2 to 3 times 1st was 58 next 54 and it drastically fall down to 44 KMPL. It is difficult to diagnose, but i think it is one of the following:Originally posted by Satya Teja View PostActually this problem started after 1 week of purchasing of my bike upto 1 week it is fine.after started filling fuel at my local place this problem got started that why i doubt fuel is causing this problem...
1. Bad quality fuel, since the issue started after re-fueling. Change your pump.
2. Incorrect quantity of fuel. You might have got less fuel to start with
3. Vapor lock issue. This is a known issue and causes your bike to stall/stop. Just open and close your fuel door and you should be fine.
4. Carb. settings were changed during service. If you continue to get poor mileage even after changing the pump, get a good mechanic to set the card properly. Don't depend on service guys for this.
5. Heating is ok for a new bike. It should settle after about 3k on the odo.Better late by 30 minutes than early by 30 years.

Guys, any update on the disc brake fluid? Braking is quite ok but I am worried I might be running without oil.Better late by 30 minutes than early by 30 years.
