    • Just saw a D125St today

It was blue...but not the blue which i saw on the internet or the bajaj showroom...

It was a much darker shade...i dont know may be because it was of the light but i am pretty sure it was a little darker blue...and looked much better than the parked blue 200ns by the side of it :P

the headlight portion looks very good..and i liked it more than the current p150 and p180 headlights

        • Does 125st share anything with duke 125 like 200ns shares the same block of duke 200?I am asking this cause it was said that duke 125 is going to be launched in India,so I expected a pulsar 125,but came 125 st.

          • I am thinking to buy a 125ST. I am novice in all bikes and terms related to bikes. Tell me is it ok or I should go to P135 LS?

I suggest you to make a check list of what you want from your bike and what you will be getting in case you get the Discover 125ST or the P135 LS

I own the new D125ST and its an amazing bike in the segment but compared to the P135, it lacks that extra power and the sporty looks that P135 has.

The 125ST is a more of an allrounder with respect to looks, performance and most of all comfort levels with the mono shocks which truly adds to the stability and riding comfort.

Hope this helps. Also there are so many user reviews of both the bikes and i myself got the 125St only after closely following the various user experiences on XBhp.

few days back, i was riding near a construction site and really the bike started slipping even though the road was dry!

I think Bajaj Discover ST with euro tyres and kinda tyres must be replaced with some more grippy tyres. Afterall paying Rs.61500 we must get a good pacakage!
Was surfing the thread, and came across this post - dated 4th Oct.

Firstly, on a new bike the tyres need to be run in (just like the engine) for 200 kms. KTM's manual states it clearly.
Secondly, dont make any cornering manovers etc on cold tyres.. The tyres need to be run atleast 10 km on a hot summer day or around 15 kms in winters to get perfect grip of the road.
Third, the soft compound tyres on my fazer(known for its grip) loses all its grip on dust, gravels.. I was better off with my splendors thin but 'groovy' tyres on that surface.

As you talked about the tyres run in period, my bike completed 770kms(approx) till that date.
Yeah, the grips decrease over the gravel, dusty area. But the EURO tyres dont provide that much confidence to drive at high speeds or to do corners.

I am a sought of guy who like doing cornering and high speeds but not always.

In D125 ST, except the tyres everything i am in love with .

Just a piece of advice to all 125ST owners...

Please please ride the bike very carefully in wet conditions.. tyres really sucks.. last night i was riding in bit wet road( mind you it wasnt tat much wet) at 20 km/hr. and while taking the turn the bike skided and i fell down.. never thought the tyres were this much worse.. and the roads were perfect . i mean their werent pot holes and uneven road.. it was perfect.. It just skids away very easily..

Is it only me or somebody else also feels that this looks somewhat like a Karizma from this angle. At least the headlamp really does.
