I enjoy both the ci and uce, though both are different in many aspects but the core is similar- long stroke pushrod engine with tremendous torque and power (27bhp).
Anyways got my first service done at the ASC. While returning got a straight empty stretch and zoomed to past 90kmph and held on to that speed and trust me the the tb500 was butter smooth at that speed and not a vibration from anywhere and no engine noise too. Really satisfied with my tb500.

Yes we should respect all bikes. I wish to have one CI bullet too in my stable . Btw your Bull is still under running period so be careful with the speeds. Better do not cross 70-80 before 2K mark, though I know it is very difficult to remain restricted, considering the knee shattering torque it has got

I told ya that the noise will get sorted out soon and will be a pleasure to ride it... After my first servicing, even i could not resist to open up the throttle...... i took my bird all the way till 120... and it still held its ground... its only after about 110 that the vibs start to come in but the engine feels like its asking you to push it further.

I knew that i was not supposed to take it above 80 till the second service, and i felt very guilty after doing so... but i only kept it at 120 for about 10 secs or so.... after that.. im not crossing 80 anymore..

Having ridden the ci 350 and the avl thunderbird(both sold), I have taken my avl thunderbird max of 115kmph with a free flow exhaust and the ci 350 has ha done 110kmph with a jet type silencer. So the tb500 should be somewhere much above considering the 27bhp and efi. Will surely try this after a couple of thousand kilometers or so. Anyone who has completed running in period done top speed of tb 500? Please do share

I have noticed that till 100 Kmph, there are no noticeable vibrations. The vibes start creeping in after the 100 mark but very manageable up to 110.

Guys the tb 500 manual says 2.75 litres of oil goes into oil sump but at service they mechanic said that only 2 litres is capcity?
And I am thinking of changing to petronas full synthetic oil which excellent for engine lubrication and the engine runs smoother comparatively and a slight performance boost is noticeable

Finally after 7 months of long waiting got an email for RE brand showroom manager that vehicle is ready and I can pay the amount so that they can deliver in 7 days.

I already have PDC link which I shared with couple of folks in this forum.

Anything else I should keep in mind? I booked tbts 500 stone black.

Congrats!! Stone black is a eye catcher. Looks superb but you have to take special care if the paint cause there is no warranty for it. Other than just the basic pdi procedure. I had exhaust leakage at the manifold cause of a faulty gasket got it replaced under warranty. Happy thumping:thumbup:
