I've noticed the same thing, the bike does a little jiggle post 120 if i'm taking a long turn. I put it to either crosswind, or an improperly leveled road surface. I was wondering if other people faced the same issue.

The engine shutoff with clutch problem on my bike was no longer present for the past month or so. The clutch had become loose. I made it tight this sunday and the problem has come up thrice in two days.
Any ideas?

Sorry to hear about your experience dude. Your dealer sounds like a right c*nt. My dealer would have been the same way if there wasn't so much competition here. Thankfully atleast the service guys are nice enough. (Dewan Motors, Lajpat Nagar). These people are basically "dukaandaars" and have no concept of customer service. Anyway, hope it gets sorted for you.

yes have written to both ktm and bajaj. there are few other bikes in my city such as ninja 650, 300 , 250 have tag all these owner as ther are facing many trouble in service. as i have called the owner every alternate day from past 2 weeks. i guess he has blocked me neither calling back

I have to give it for your patience bro. U are an awesome guy. U have been patient for so long with a shitty sales person yet still u write a long mail without using foul words.

I sincerely hope the issue is sorted fast and u get the reward for being patient.

This is ridiculous behavior by the showroom and BAJAJ/KTM. Such kind of service is the real reason people move away from products. Hope that you get a positive response from bajaj officials. If not, then definitely go for the legal route.

Pls don't think that it's bajaj, that's why these things are happening with you.
I remember few months ago saw news of kochi Harley Davidson owners protesting outside a Harley dealership for the same reasons you're facing, like loot, lies etc

If I were you, o would go straight down with some more people who are facing problems with the dealer, ask him firmly whether he's going to do things right in a week or not and then simply protest and file a case against him in consumer court .you all (who are facing problems) can file the case together against dealer and teach them a lesson.!!
Procedure-

There is a Consumer Court at every District level.
For filing a complaint please visit Consumer Court
where you will find Boards, guidelines and
Counsels who guide you on a) what are your
rights as a consumer, b) what can be termed as a
violation of your rights as a consumer and finally
c) how a complaint can be filed in the consumer
court.
The procedure is very simple, it does not require
any legal lawyer, but what is needed is to first
have knowledge of the rights of as a consumer and
when the rights of a consumer are deemed to be
violated by any dealer of seller of consumer
goods.Then you have to be very thorough with the
steps you have taken to convey your complaint ( in
writing ) with the dealer or seller of goods or
services from whom you have bought goods or
services. Then enough proof that despite your
bonafide complaint the dealer or seller has refused
to comply , which automatically results in a
strong case of violation of consumer rights.
Once you file a complaint with all relevant details
and written proofs, generally in a fortnight the
violator is served with a notice to make good the
losses to the consumer . These losses you have to
specify in terms of money very clearly in your
complaint to court.

Behera Da, sad to know your plight
The situation is clearly the result of the monopoly your delare enjoys. Here in Mumbai, atleast the buying experience is good. You are treated well, plus the dealers do help you out whenever you have an issue.But this may be unavoidable for some time, Odisha being a relatively poor state and hence lacking customers for premium bikes. Same reason Kolkata doesn't have all the luxury brands the way Mumbai and Delhi has.
But when it comes to service, the limited infra(read staff) and the poor parts quality of Bajaj spoils the experience. I shudder to think what will happen once the Bajaj Parts quality starts shining through and you take your 390 to the svc for servicing.
I am not being a party pooper, just ranting at the Bajaj philosophy of maximizing profit margins(highest in the industry) at the cost of parts quality.

Keep on shooting mails to Bajaj and keep them strongly worded. Also call up KTM service manager/regional area manager/and customer care.

I'm not sure.. But it definitely made a difference in my 390. My friend felt the same for his bike.

its sad we get a restricted version here.9.5krpm limiter.on the other hand I get between 30-40kpl mileage. 30 when I'm ripping occasionally. 40 in normal acceleration mode.tankful method.

The total bill amount was Rs.1624
The split up of cost are

outpur [email protected]% on 1221.85 is 177.16
service tax 12.36% on 200.00 is 24.72

Can they collect labour amount on free services or i have been cheated?
If they are cheating, is it done only on KTM Mogappair or everywhere. how about KTM Adyar?

You ride mainly on highways? Even in run in I am not getting more than 30 in city & highways combined but good to know that its capable of such mileage figures

No they should not charge for chain lubrication labour and oil filter replacement labour as these are part of service( you can refer to manual). They can charge labour charge if they do any extra work apart from service.

well yes ridden the way its supposed to it returns 30 or less only.but don't feel like always being in race mode.mixed use.but here in Thrissur not much in traffic blocks ,average 3rd or 4th gear all time in city.easy to maintain 60kph+ speeds here on the smooth roads.39.98kpl was the maximum I was able to achieve.mostly highway roads as I live/work away from the town.
