It's really normal for first 1000 kms. Faced this in both. Duke200& also in 390 , its common.

There's nothing to worry about, Keep riding and topping up when required, after a while it will settle. Also check the levels when the bike is stone cold and not Hot.
Luckily for me, the coolant level on my bike has not changed after 700KM probably due to good bleeding from the factory.

Yes, it is introductory price. But i think this might be the final price or even lesser once the rc390 also comes in.

Even i havent mentioned any thing about tires at home. They were shocked to hear the engine oil price. I dont know what will happen if they come to know about tires price.

Did you checked the coolant container cap? Have any gaskets got damaged? Check that.

Does your bike gets hot quickly or gradually?

Mine has done close to 2000kms, the coolant has been never topped up. It has remained at same level when i brought the bike.

riazmomin, Buro & kkamaleshh thanks for reply, i have checked coolant container cap & any possible leak from gaskets, none signs of leak, manual says level gets increased when bike is hot due to expansion of coolant. Bike is normal in every aspect none major heating issues till now, will continue riding till 1000 km mark.

Got a call from BTM showroom... They agreed on 12days delivery in case of full payment. Couldn't find time today... Going tomorrow.
They also claimed increase of price by 9K from next month!

Bike delivered two weeks back.Struggling with the number registration as Number series has ended

..To add to my pain,back office has incorrectly updated my last name on the documents :/

Hi,
I took delivery of my 390 Duke 5 days back. I feel the engine sputtering as if it is running lean in low rpms (less than 3000 rpms) in 1st & 2nd gears.
It is felt more when the bike starts running from a cold start.
Anyone else here felt the same? Is it a known issue?

Anyone else from KTM Langford here?

Called them today and found out they've misplaced records of a lot of bookings. Couldn't find my booking even with all my details very patiently spelled out to them.

If anyone had booked since July, please re-check with them about your booking. You might need to get there and confirm they've got your details correctly.

I guess this is what one should expect when they are patient and don't bug the showroom too much. Even Langford confirmed the booking number period has ended, but say they will deliver based on booking number rather than full payment.... Gawd knows if that's true. They never bothered sending an email asking who've booked since July and if they can re-confirm their details. Talk about lackadaisical attitude!

Sad part is people are still waiting for the delivery
Now i seriously doubt if ill be able to lay my hands on RC390 before 2015
And dunno how much price ill need to pay coz of this fluctuating economy
Till the time RC390 is launched, ill be a regular visitor here :-p

Saw a Duke 390 here in Mangalore at around 6:30 - 6:45pm today. It was in front of KSRTC and going towards KPT. He was wearing a black jacket and black helmet and the bike didn't have registration number. Anyone from here?

Thank You for confirming that Sachin. I only hope they deliver according to the waitlist atleast till they clear the backlog orders. D200 price has been increased by 4.5k, D390 deliveries are pretty much off the shelf now...adding 1+2 might lead to a increase in D390 price.
