    Not sure about anyone in Delhi but you can send a emails to KTM North India ids ( available at any SVC) and maybe Rajeev Bajaj as well. Go ahead and post your concerns in their Facebook and twitter pages as well.

    It would be helpful if we could get to know the cause of the issue and the how it was fixed by ravi, so others can get it sorted at their service place.

            STALLING MYSTERY SOLVED (atleast i hope so!, touchwood)

            I went to autoservice, banaskankari this morning to show the issue. A lot of things were tired like changing spark plug, increasing the gap between spark plug, clutch cable free play adjustment, throttle cable adjustment. ALso checked all the sensors, injectors, stepper motor, etc through the diagnostic tool but no error was found. All these could not solve the stalling completely. Eventually, after digging the mountain, a mole was found to be the culprit. One of the battery terminal connection metal part was broken, and was causing loose connection. Sorted that and rode for 22 kms. So far no stalling. phew! i can have a couple of extra beers tonight!!

            So guys having major stalling issue, please check the battery connection once before digging deeper.


            In the midst of all this, managed to get ravi's (mechanic at karsurba road) number and called him to ask his findings. He just refused to share any detail.


            Any one having noisy gear shifts, please get your clutch cable adjusted properly. It makes a huge difference in the gear shift smoothness. Only the clutch becomes a bit hard and starts hurting after heavy use in traffic situation.

              On my bike, the svc guys checked the battery connection and then went on to test other things. Hope your issue is fully resolved.

                We had small Ride and G2G with other owners of KTM 390 Duke in Hyderabad. 7 Bikes turned out, atleast the start was good. 200kms to and fro ride.

                  Hi Guys, did anybody notice any white paint chip off from the rear monoshock of there duke 390?
                  I can see a lot of paint chip off on mine in the area where the spring comes in contact when it gets pressed.

                  I guess it will effect in long term in form of rusting of the spring.

                  Please share remedies if any, or can I go for a warranty claim?

                        Actually, there IS a Stalling issue.

                        in my 3K kms ownership, I have faced the issue thrice, that is before past week. Did not really bother about it. Past week was a nightmare, with stalling at will. So i guess there are two different causes. One is unknown and happens rarely. Other one in my case was broken battery terminal. After fixing that issue, have rode about 100 kms, and can not stall the bike even if i try. So one issue is taken care of. However, this morning, the bike did stall once, in 2nd gear, at about speed of 35kmph. Pressed the clutch and it just stalled. After that, i tried replicating the issue, but could not stall the bike. So this must be the unknown cause, happens less frequently, and i guess this is what many of us are facing.

                          If the bike coolent temperature is above 115C (the last two temp bars are full), the ECU shuts down the engine to ensure that engine is not damaged. This, however, is rare.

                            has anyone tried this spool. its written as duke 200 will this also fit 390 ?

                            In manual its written as to keep it below 7.5 k on rpm during the first 1000 km. can i take it above the said mark after 1st servicing or i should keep it same till the next servicing which is at 5000 km ? right now im keeping it below 6k

                              Looks like frame damage cases are reported more than usual. But good thing is, this bike rim just bent probably cracked. For mine all spokes cracked.

                              I want to ask the senior bikers, about the frame damage.

                              In case of minor accidents, is it common for frame or chassis damage? Please throw some light.
