Ooo...I hate to interfere, but look at you...Shazza is not already here and you are calling your wife "Strange"....I dont know how Shazza is going to survive in your house for long

    On a serious note, congrats

i think this bike is coming with so many problems. KTM is not serious to resolve these problems. D390 is not giving enjoyable ride, tension free ride, .this all is clear from posts of owners of D390. so far.

Well, bro, KTM is not at all serious about any problems...my new D200 had handle bar misaligned, oil leaking on the first day....the product which has been in the market for over a year had these much quality issues, forget about D390 settling in anytime soon.

And whom are we kidding?...KTM is just Bajaj.

To add to the quality issues, Well, I'm lucky enough to be posting this standing on my feet.

Hit a medium sized Stone on Highway, in the evening, coming back from a 700 kms trip. Both rims broken, yes, broken, not bent :-|

          Will post full details soon.

I changed my decision to buy the 390 and went for the ninja 300 because of quality issues

Shit man, are you fine? Hope you did not sustain any injuries. I have heard such numerous issues and i am pretty worried about what it could lead to.

A sincere request to d390 owners. This must not be ignored, and must be taken to bajaj, ask bajaj to get your rims stress tested again.
Ask them why such issues on their premium class bike.

One can not ride with no fear in such a scenario. And above all, your life and that of people on the road is anyday of utmost importance. Please do not ignore this.

Lets not wait for something grave to happen, drop a mail to bajaj.

This is surprising and bad but not altogether unthinkable. It depends on what speeds you were doing when you hit the stone. I think a direct hit at any speed over 50kmph can potentially break the alloy wheel or at least crack it. The alloys are great but they lack the tensile strength of plain steel rims so one should be a little careful.

I hope you didn't have any major injuries, but looks like you didn't brake at all else the ABS would have avoided this I think.

Anything and i say 'Anything' which potentially cracks the wheels of your vehicle while you are on it, is actually unthinkable and unacceptable.

Then please avoid/stop using vehicles with alloys wheels. Nothing in this world is indestructible for that matter.
