Yes you are correct.. I have clocked 10k.. I am irritated with my exhaust note.. SVC guys don't have answer for this... I felt like I got into a false product...

I've also noticed that the bike's nature goes through a lot of changes as you clock kms, ride long fast stretches, get services done. Its as if the bike has a character that keeps on changing. This is my first bike, not sure if it happens will all of them. Does it ?
You are the first to talk about this I think ..

It is really true that bike nature is changing...

Riding is not like same all the time in this bike. When I said the same to Svc they laughed at me and said it was your mentality.. But now I realized that it is actually the problem of bike..

      Thank you.

Exhaust note wont be that different from other bikes (same model) until and unless something has gone wrong inside the exhaust itself. Apart from that its all 'in the mind'.

First of check your tone, the tone here in your reply says something else.

Secondly, if you cant take advice, dont ask for them.

Thirdly, what I said was in good sense to help you and so that you should enjoy the bike rather than nitpicking and finding faults in "sound". I still have to find that instrument that can differentiate tone, tempo etc of the sound from a motorcycle.

Scuse me for butting in, but I feel the same - a difference, a variance in exhaust note and NVH in my CBR 250 which is FI. Some days it is purring smoothly like a cat, other days it growls loudly. It's been there since I bought the bike 3.5 years ago. I think it's due to variation in air temperature and density.

my 4 year old fazer has never faced this type of issues. still same sound from engine and exhaust. but in gixxer now, its about the roads we drive on. when i drive on good nice road you will get original sound. but on dirty roads(sand, mud, pot holes, stones) then engine catches all dust, also its depends on petrol.

                        Hi,

Just got my hands on the new gixxer and i am absolutely loving it

Just one concern, the rear drum brake seems a bit loose. Is that how it should be or should i tighten it a bit?

Even less possible to that with front sprocket because it rides directly on the drive shaft and has no carrier . If in doubt take it to suzuki service center and explain them the problem - be patient with them . Company service should be able to detect any mis-assembly immediately .
Thanks for info I will visit our nearest SVC and update the thread later !
