Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Yes you're correct. What I meant to tell was I'm experiencing the same @ lower gears in ideal rpm after the change of chain sprockets. Anyways I'll check the chain slackness as you mentioned.Originally posted by MotoBlizzard View Post

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Its difficult to make out what you are exactly trying to say but its definitely not an Engine Lugging problem. But if your engine is bogging even with little throttle then you might be having fueling issues, or your rear wheel axle might not be spinning freely.Originally posted by Biker23 View PostYes you're correct. Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
I'm aware but the prices in there are Ex-Showroom. Which is why I asked for exact OTR prices to compare it with the ones here. Also, one of my brother's Colleagues has decided to co-own an upcoming Suzuki Showroom here in Cuttack. This means that I get to buy my next future vehicle at a nominal price.Originally posted by MotoBlizzard View PostYou dont have to ask, you can check the prices on Suzuki's website

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Last week i flushed my Gixxer's engine with Liqui Moly Engine Flush. Actually i didn't face any issues with my bike but for the past 3½ years no engine flush, my current
speedometer reading is 50,000 kms. Decided to open the clutch casing ( right side ) It was very clean & no sludge at all. But found some dust in engine oil strainer. Filled with Idemitsu 10w40 Fully Synthetic. Got amazing results after flushing the engine.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
I would recommend 3M flush for 2 wheelers, tried both and found 3M better, though yes 3M is pricier per ml compared to Liqui Moly.Originally posted by Dynamo View PostLast week i flushed my Gixxer's engine with Liqui Moly Engine Flush. Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Hi All,
coping the query from gixxer sf thead just so that more people can see
This query is about break in. i have bot the gixxer sf fi ABS variant last month and completed first 800 km with 4500 rpm limit and also first service done. in this 800 km i tried to vary the rpm and reach 4500 rpm then change gear or some time reach 4500 rpm and release throttle so i slow down to may be 3000 rpm and accelerate again this i was doing as the traffic permits. i tried acceleration and deceleration in each gear.
now my question is for next 800 km, should i try to accelerate to 7500 rpm and then change gear? because i can try that in 1-2-3 gears but it will be hard to do it in 4th and 5th gears as i mostly drive in city i might not see a stretch or safe to do that, will that effect the bike in any way or is it just fine to vary rpm and stay in limit is ok, say i might not even touch 7500 rpm at all is fine?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Yes stock cushion sucks and many have opted to this but according to me I think you were charged exorbitantly for this , here in Kolkata it would have cost you Rs 500 maxOriginally posted by sandsbhatre View PostHi All,

So recently i customised the seat for better comfort for myself and pillion @Rs.1500.
Just lookat the results.

Its a Small price to pay for comfort. All nearby shops were demanding around the same range.Originally posted by kuulbhaskar View PostYes stock cushion sucks and many have opted to this but according to me I think you were charged exorbitantly for this , here in Kolkata it would have cost you Rs 500 max

by an inch....no one felt any height difference....but complaints about slipping forward, butt aches for rides above 15 min have stopped.Originally posted by cbzee View PostYou have got the work done But,,,wouldn't it increase the height of the pillion seat a well ?
Also the pillion seat has a slight curve in the middle , so pillions but doesnt move forward and theres no pressure on its tail bone.
You can see in the pics. Not much has changed looks wise.
