I recently myself bought a preowned gixxer, so I can tell you my experience:-

    1. Look for oil in the engine
    2. Check for WHITE smoke from exhaust. (No white smoke should be there)
    3. Insert key to scrap out surface inside the exhaust. No oil paste should ideally be there, powdered carbon will be ideal
    4. Check for oil leaks on engine. On driving bike for atleast 10 kms, check this as oil gets heated and leaks out from engine if any leak is there.
    5. Check for chain sprocket teeths, they are dead give away of actual kms done,(check for images online for wearing of chain sprockets) rather the electronic odometer.
    6. Startup motor for battery condition
    7. Tyre conditions.
    8. Brake oils and pads

Be prepared to have a service done which includes minimum replacement of

    1) Oil Filter (45)
    2) Oil (372)
    3) Air Filter (95)
    4) Spark Plug (200)
    5) Oil leakage left packing (50)

    Documents:-

    1) Manual
    2) RC book
    3) Tax Payment receipt
    4) Form 29
    5) Form 30
    6) Insurance Copy
    7) Invoice of vehicle

P.s. You have to fill atleast 200 INR of petrol as Gixxer has reserve fuel of 2.4L

Guys, my lower left hand side and right hand side fairing located around the engine got slightly detached due to contact with a big speed breaker. Now I need to fix it. How much will it cost??

If they are detached they probably broke. Replacement for both lower panels will come to around 2000INR total.

Actually it's not broken... The nut located in the bottom went off.. detached in the sense, it looks separated

I reckon this is the video in question.

Though any bike can when revved on a Dyno or as "center stand" can reach it's max speed as there is absolutely no resistance whatsoever on the bike. In real world conditions, the bike has to overcome drag, weight, most importantly friction itself. Secondly, CDI rev limit is there to prevent the engine from over-revving and prevents the crank and piston from going to smithereens. Though the little juice at the top end can be satiating, in the long run, it's detrimental.

            Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
            The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

            THE END

The center bolt? in that case just go to the spareparts department of Suzuki and purchase that bolt

Theres this video too, but no way in hell that Gixxer is Stock. Exhaust sound is different so is the acceleration.

It's nothing but a free flow exhaust with a revised CDI or a revised sprocketing or a combination of all three. Secondly, these are to have attributes if one in into the Gixxer Cup or is a track bug. In fact, Gixxer Cup and Gixxer 150s have been the entry level bikes for most Track Event Sponsors.

All motorcycles have something called a CDI box or a black box, in EFI it's all integrated into one circuit as ECU. For those carbureted counterparts, we have something called CDI, this has all the data burned into a small IC by the manufacturer. It makes sure the spark is timed at the right instant and stop the spark at the right instant. That's all there is to it. Aftermarket ones are sans these limits and allow the engine to rev beyond it's design parameters.

                                Cheers!
