Thinking of replacing the 12v35w stock bulb with osram silverlight h1 bulb. But am confused between osram silverlight and night racer plus. (Both are 12v35w)

Heard both gives more light than stock. The silverlight produces yellow light but what night racer gives.....yellowish white? Which one is best and mostly used?

I've ridden about 300 kilometers with this setup now. Height has gone up at the front, but as per the feedback at the handlebars, so has the weight. The bike is fairly stiffer in terms of flickability with the new tyre. Confidence and stability in corners definitely seem to be better, but it is somewhat a task to turn the bike in. I can't comment on the braking as the stock MRF seemed to hold up almost as good as this tyre under medium-hard braking. No comments on wet performance either.

There's a problem though, ever since I got the bike back, the engine rattling that creeps in between 3.5k-4.5k RPM just doesn't go away after that! Earlier I used to take the bike till 5k RPM once in a while and the sound would go away completely after 4.5k RPM under light acceleration.
But now, it goes on all the way up to 7k RPM and probably even beyond (can't cross 7k till 1600kms as per the manual) even under the lightest possible acceleration. The rattling is almost non-existent in Neutral or when in gear with the clutch disengaged. This noise is really irritating even when riding on the highway TBH. Told the SVC guys about it and they say it's there in all vehicles, but it's more in some and less in some and bleh. Is this because of the Idemitsu oil? Experienced users please comment on this!

I want to change my rear view mirrors. Can someone suggest me from where I need to buy them (probably shorter ones), Not like the stock ones.

Yesterday went to service center and told them to lower the angle of the headlamp bulb a lil lower. It really helped and now the light throw is precise and more.

Crossed 6k and using motul 300v 10w40 full synthetic oil for 1st time. The result is like outta this world. Inc. acceleration, smooth shifts, smooth acceleration, awesome feeling .....didnt observe any cons.......ll update if found any.........

Pilot street radial 110/70 should be an easy fit. Sidewall is slightly lesser than stock but it should be fine. Front will feel heavier though.

I'm not sure but I think Diablo Rosso is softer than the Michelin and it should be a good replacement if money isn't an issue.
As mentioned in a recent post, I switched to the Michelin PSR at the front.
I rode a friend's Gixxer SF last night (bought just 2 days after mine) which has the stock MRF rubber on, and there was a noticeable difference.
My bike was slightly taller than his bike at the front, which made the riding posture slightly more upright. I have been riding my bike on the highway and it does have really good stability at 90ish speeds. His bike on the other hand was considerably more flickable. Mine takes some effort at the handlebars to turn into corners and to bring back up after.

What about osram nightracer plus......its a yellowish white colour of same specs. Good visibility.

Silverstar does have a yellow light but more yellowish than stock.

I have used Phillips Blu vision moto, which is similar to night racer. Trust me, if you don't want to go for 60W bulbs, try the Osram Silverstar. Gives better visibility than the yellowish white light of night racer plus.

Battery upgrade is possible maybe to 4ah and not more. Anything bigger and it might affect the charging of the battery.

Am using motul 300v 10w40 after compl. of 6k kms.

I ride 35 kms everyday up-dwn. Recently observed engine getting heated and engine oil burning smell. Is this normal while using motul 300v / fully synthtic oil. Anyone with same results?

                            Its a nice colour.
Matt grey with a combo of race flag strips n sp logo. The matt colour is good for long run as theres is no chance of losing its glossiness (which it doesnt have) like the other colour variant.

                            Go for it.

I own an SP Edition SF and TBH the seat colour isn't that bad once you get to seeing it on a daily basis. I disliked it when I bought the bike too, but now it doesn't really matter! In fact, it has grown on me and I like it now! I feel the bike would look too plain with a black or grey seat.

The matte grey finish looks really nice, especially the appearance during the onset of dusk. It even masks some dust on the surface too (not saying that bikes are supposed to be kept that way). [emoji14]
