No....i meant after wen free services are over.
Meanwhile, tell the svc guys bout the prob in details and try to be near the bike while in service. I always make sure they work correctly on my bike without missing any snag out...... Most svc guys are lazy and does the work in shortcuts.

    Btw, Congrats on ur Gixxer

Even I too feel the engine grunts like crazy. It's like a guy is groaning with a sore throat. A growling sound. It's really odd. It feels like the engine is stressed.
Especially hear it only whole accelerating. When I release the throttle and the bike is coasting, I don't hear it. It's all smooth. Hmmm no idea what it is.

Update: took the bike to a dam near to my place. With a 70kg pillion, it climbed the inclines with ease. Amazing that is.
Also rode on 4 lane NH rode. Nicely stable. The wind doesn't hit that hard.

I'm experiencing the same grunt everytime I cross 4k RPM. I can't say till where (which RPM) it lasts since I upshift latest by 4.5k RPM itself. But no matter how lightly I twist the throttle, the grunt is always there. Is this normal?

Bro commuting 16kms per day...no problem..... Let the console show the required kms compleated to service, then only yo service. Thats it, theres no hurry. If yo wud ask me, i wud say go for sunday breakfast rides, long rides touring with frnds. This helps your bike to unlock its engine potential, compleate kms and also to detect problems if rises (not a bad thing) and for your relaxation too. So yo see 16 km/day is like petting the bike. Go get the beast out.....

Oh the days yo asked.....about that...... the svc guys says 1st sv: 500-1000 kms or 30 days....... now they just assume that you wud definitely compleate minimum 500 kms within 30 days..... or 500-1000 kms to get service..... thats it.... better follow your bike console kms reading......How much kms yo compleated?
