I got my Suzuki SF rear disc brace delivered this 6th, but the bike was allotted to me on 29th. The dealer told me I was the first to get this in Chennai (not sure if this was true).
Coming to the concern, I notice that the front disc unit at the wheel feels hot after riding for shorter distances of 5-10 km. I use engine-braking and not necessary pump or hard press brakes unless required. Wondering if someone can throw my light on this and or clarify if this is indeed normal?

Thanks,
The discs will heat even if you apply very little brakes. Where there is friction, there will be heat. It is normal. Nothing to worry about.
To make sure that the brakes are not overtight, ride the bike a few hundred meters without using front brakes, then touch the disc, if it is still heating, the brake pads are not properly fitted, get them checked at SVC. If the disc do not heat, everything is fine.
Do the same test with the rear brakes.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.
My suggestion would be to change it mate
I like many too had done this change to l.e.d but our reflector isn't made to focus the beam properly and thus it goes haywire blinding the oncoming traffic
And many l.e.d wont work properly ,i.e no passer
Better change to a 55/60w bulb
Which i had to done after seeing the results of l.e.d s
Believe me you cant be that guy who doesn't give a QUACK to the oncoming lane and flooding them with cool white 6000/8000 k lights
Dont be afraid to do so as it wont have any ill effects on your battery
Its tried and tested by multiple xbhpians including me
I am now running on Bosch 4100k 55/60w halogen bulb which gives me more than sufficient illumination and costs 400 a pair
Thanks bro! Very helpful! Yes, I really feel guilty when my headlight lights up the cabins of cars and even trucks!
I saw this Bosch bulb online but couldn't find the the image with light results. Can you share some pics with the bulb's illumination on roads? Does it give white light?
Whre do you go?in tanishq suzuki? Or in animal suzuki
Beg pardon
Animesh suzuki?
My friend is looking for a good SVC to get his bike serviced. It's his first service. Hence, he does not want to get done from a place where issues arise. I thought that this forum is the best place to get all the answers. Where do you service your bike??

It gives stock coloured lights in low beam and the high beam has a whitish hue
Can share the pics but you cant differentiate as i have to compare it with the stock at the same place same time

I go to animesh suzuki
A few of friends have done at tanishq and they are not satisfied
If you go to animesh be aware as people there are a bit of ASS
Tanishq is a bit more friendly but dosent have a good crew
just be friendly to them and tell them everything you feel wrong about your bike while making the job sheet
And let them do their job
They know what their doing and most us the time it's us pissing them off

Cool. It's okay! I will get the Bosch one installed. The worst thing is, this LED lamp cost me Rs. 1800! That too was from a bike market so I don't think the guy will take this back!

Keep the led at bay
I too have it stored
Maybe I'll give it to someone if someone asks for it
Or maybe you can go to a local garage and tell them to sell it for you
Because they are fixing and attaching these things all the time
You'll get a meagre piece of meat out from it but hey
Better than nothing
First of all hoping that you are all right
Secondly, To be honest you might just want to change the brake padel as the right side fairing will be screwed back to place and the scratches will be covered by any decent strip like stickers according to your taste
And if you are keen to change it then the front fairing part should cost you 1.5k
You can opt for insurance if you have a zero dep one
Oh and for the mufflers a silver and black paint will sort out the mess
Am fine dude. 🙌 Just some stratches on my hand and knees as usual. And Thank you so much . Thats exactly what I am planing to do. Changing the brake pedal and stickering the fairing stratches. And some painting wrk also. :-)
