what that red color at the bottom, sticker sheet or paint ?
Bro that's matte sheet. The guy there had to work real hard to set it on every edges and holes using hot air machine. Sitting on a small chair, I had to hold my bike almost at 30 degrees from the ground so that he can stick the sheet on the other side. It took us almost 2 hours just to cover that part on both sides with red sheet and another 2 hours to stick all those stickers.

But in the end, it was worth it!

make sure you dont use too much throttle, and try to cruise on constant speeds. you might get the bike tuned. how many kms has it done?

    also 6 months old now!

meticulous cleaning with proper tools and waxing each time and buffing it off does make it worth it! look at the deep shine.

i have gone offroad with it and had wet sand plastered on it as well. but wax saved it.

i use turtle wash and 3M premium wax. use a compressed sponge for washing and 3m micro fibre cloth to wipe it down. Then wax i with a sponge and buff with another micro fibre cloth.
Yes, my Gixxer is also 7 months old now. Super thanks to my father who is so shine crazy that he cleans his own and my bike every morning even before I get up. He even cleans the tires which you can notice in the Youtube video I mentioned. Feels real lucky to have a father like him . I use 3M premium wax every Friday.

And about the oil, I use 10W40 which was filled by the SVC guys but seeing in the manual, I guess I should use 10W50. Am I getting that diagram correctly?

Well Doing so Might reduce the performance, but if you want to try something different , try cutting 1 inch deep your upper Exhaust Tube, that will produce some loud noise
, We have 2 Pipe type in our exhaust , cut off top one inch deep

nothing will happen. the baffles are what produces the sound. if you want differenct sound you need to change or modify the baffles in the silencer. The length of the baffle/silencer box is what gives the wave length of the sound the exhaust makes. Its not as simple as cutting two tubes

I saw a Suzuki's Tank Protector in one of the Gixxers' forums here. I tried finding it in my city by contacting every dealer but no one had that available. Then I contacted Suzuki from their website asking them if they can arrange one in my city. On Monday I got a call from a guy named Pritam from Suzuki's Spare Parts Department, Gurgaon! Below is the conversation-

Pritam - Sir, I am calling from Suzuki, Gurgaon. I'm contacting you regarding your query for the Gixxer Tank Protector.
Me- Yes. Can you please arrange one to any dealer in my city?
Pritam - Surely. Who is your dealer?
Me - Shivalik Suzuki. Can you please send it with my name and number so that they don't sell it to anyone else and can contact me when it is available?
Pritam - Why not! We do have an order ready for shipment to this dealer. I am adding your Tank Protector with your name and contact number in the order. It will be shipped by air tomorrow so you can expect it in the next two days.
Me - Awesome! I'll be waiting for that. Thank you so much!

Now today after 3 days, I got a call from my dealer informing that the tank protector is now available. I went there and found that everyone there was waiting for me as they thought that I lodged a complaint against them. I clarified that it was just a request. They put the Tank Protector on my bike very carefully as it was the first time they were putting this on any bike.

It looks super awesome. I thought it would be just a sticker. But its really a pad! It is thick and strong enough to bear any type of scratch!

I really liked the response from Suzuki for my request! They acted quickly and were very helpful!

Do you know any good shops which can fit new headlight bulb to the bike. I don't want to go Mirzapur.

I clean and lube my chain every 500-600 Kilometers. And I use Motul C1 & C2 Chain Clean and Lube.

Bro you know what, I got the LED headlight fitted in my GSF from Mirzapur only. But the same night I regretted it as the beam was going into the skies. Thankfully, I have a friend who has his own Bike garage and shop and has a very talented Mechanic. The mechanic adjusted the beam by the screw below the headlight and it's fine now. The Shop name is RAJPUT MOTORCYCLOPEDIA. It is below Sakar English School, New C.G. Road, Chandkheda. The shop mainly deals with Enfield bikes but they can work on your bike if there are no Enfield bike to work on priority. The best option is to call the guy before going. Check your inbox, I have PM'd his name and number. Tell him that I gave you his number, you have the same bike and want to fit a headlight bulb. If possible, he will ask you to come at the shop or will give you the right time for next day.

By the way, have you got the headlight bulb or looking for it?

                              Ali express
And search "adjustable brake and clutch levers"
                              They are universal

Gixxerians of kolkata and nearby i would like to recommend "Taminaru Suzuki"
                                Situated at Barasat
Its one hell of a svc
Me along with my two fellow xbhpian gixxerians went there and after being fed up repeatedly by Animesh suzuki agarpara it was a oasis in the desert
They reassembled the bike from scratch and did what not
I was worried about the future of the bike because of the bad svcs and their behaviors
But these guys had done it all
Felt like returning with a new bike while coming back from
                                P.s.
They have idemitsu f.s. oil there
I have nothing to complain of the oil as i think its well enough for me and its well enough for "guys" maybe not for "bikers"
Yes i am not fond of nitpicking to express my vast knowledge (sarcasm intended)
And nor i am paid by the svc to write the review
Just wanted to help the fellow riders to find a suitable svc where they can come out of the service station happily
