I have bought Gixxer SF RD last month and that makes me a newcomer to this world of yours.
Many of my queries were answered while I was going through this thread but couod not find about waxing.

I have bought Formula 1 Carnauba Paste Wax for my bike so I need a help from experts here that which parts of bike should be untouched during waxing it and which parts should be focused?

    Eagerly waiting for your views!

Focus on painted panels, avoid matt shaded areas.

                Fished from the internet bro
As far i can assume you have to add extra padding on the back and stich and top it with another seat cover
That way the rear portion will be elevated thus giving a faux split seat view

Guys if u buy gixxer sf better buy from Delhi or Mumbai or some some other major city .Never buy from dehradun or some small places like this. If u get a defective piece ur at big loss. Better go for some other bike . does anyone know wats the top speed of this sf. Mine is only giving 112 km/hr
Lo! And you expect smoothness eh?

                      A request for Mumbai guys,

Could anyone suggest a good service centre? I've been putting up with Kaveri Suzuki in Kandivali for the past year. I'd rather not go into detail about how unpleasant my experience has been. It would be great if anyone of you could give me a suggestion.

                      Cheers

Try Kiran Suzuki, Thane or Riya Suzuki, Mulund. Super helpful people and very good at customer experience. Though I'm not sure how comfortable you'd be travelling to this side of Mumbai...

Thanks a ton, man.. I'm staying at Bandra now, So I could make it work. As long as the service is good, don't mind using up a few hours on my days off

                          cheers

                            Hi guys!
My bike just got first service at 749kms. Should I cross the 4.5k rpm barrier now or wait for 800kms?

Break in doesn't happen at exactly 800 or 1600 kms. There is no much difference between 749 and 800. You can take it to the next RPM limit mentioned in the manual - but very gradually. Say 5000 rpm very few seconds, after a week of regular driving like this, 5500 rpm for a few seconds, and so on. The key is to vary engine speed as much as possible till 1600 kms on odo and not to lug it in any gear. Run-in also doesn't stop at 1600. The engine will continue to run-in, but according to the manual/Suzuki engineers, the most part should be over by 1600 km or 1000 miles.
